The Pang Ho Cheung directed new film DREAM HOME (WAI DOR LEI AH YUT HO) due to its excessive violence has been rated category III. Earlier at the Udien Film Festival in Italy 3 viewers fainted. He joked that perhaps due to the English title viewers were not prepared for it.

In the film Josie Ho Chiu Yi brutally murders a dozen or so people, but at the same time she and Eason Chan Yik Shun develop an affair. In one scene they go to a motel, Eason is all over her. While the script did not specify, the director felt that it should be done in an affair. Thus she let Eason do whatever he wanted. She said, "Eason even said if the director didn't yell cut, he planned to stick out his tongue! Since we are so familiar, I can trust him. It wasn't awkward at all!" Chiu Yi was worried that the film will lose money, but both she and the director are impulsive more than anything. Now the film has been sold overseas and a foreign company is interested in its remake rights, so it should have no problem.

The director originally wanted Juno Mak Chun Lung to be the killer but Chiu Yi made him a cop in the film. Juno said that Chiu Yi was a good friend so he did not mind the character change. He even revealed that he yelled at Chiu Yi before his scene ended. Andrew Lin Hoi this time was responsible for special effects. For 24 Herb member Ah Fei's scene, Lin Hoi expressed that pig intestines were used. However they had to be changed in the morning, the afternoon and the evening and cola had to be used to rid it of the stench. For Lawrence Chou Chun Wai's scene, Lin Hoi stated that the prop required several tests before success. Chou Chun Wai said that his rear revealing scene was very embarrassing during the shoot. Although he covered the front, his co-star was not covered at all. He said, "Now I still don't dare to watch it in the cinema. (Did you have any biological reaction at the time?) No because I have to focus on the performance."
