Wilfred Lau Ho Lung and Pong Nan Yik Bong yesterday promoted their new film ONCE A GANGSTER (FEI SA FUNG JUNG SHUEN) on Metro Radio. Lau Ho Lung in the film played Chan Wing Yan, he watched Tony Leung Chiu Wai's INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) over 30 times in hopes of picking up Wai Jai's look and gestures. Was he afraid of comparison with Wai Jai? He pointed out that this was a dark comedy, the goal of which was for the audience to be happy and have side splitting laughs. This time he was ordered to imitate Wai Jai according to director Felix Chong Man Keung's guidance.

Nam Yik Bong in the film played a Wise Guy for the first time. He hoped that the audience would be pleasantly surprised. Although his character was a Wise Guy, he actually has retired long ago. Thus he only needed a blond streak in his hair and no fake tattoo. However in the film he had many gang fight flashbacks. He pointed out that now being a Wise Guy is no longer trendy. This film also wanted to remind the audience to stay away from the mob. They would not have any pressure from the film box office because earlier a screening was held and many friends could not stop complimenting them.
