Fashion store I.T. boss Shum Ka Wai two nights ago held a grand opening ceremony in Causeway Bay, over 50 artists like Carina Lau Ka Ling, Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi, Julian Cheung Chi Lam and wife Anita Yuen Wing Yi, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu and others attended. Recently artists Max Mok Siu Chung and Suen Hing were arrested on drug charges, leading to speculation of a drug using artist list. Some tabloids even hinted at artists. Lau Ka Ling was asked whether she was under suspicion? She directly said that she would not take drug. If anyone believed that she took drugs they were silly. Shum Ka Wai's wife Chingmy Yau Suk Ching also attended, but Yau Suk Ching maintained her usual low profile. Pak Chi after the ceremony also rushed in a hurry.

Lau Ka Ling said that she came to congratulate Yau Suk Ching because they have known each other for years. Did she show her support for free? She said almost, but joked that she did not sponsored her. She only got a discount. Ka Ling earlier won the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress, she said that her emotions have already settled down. More movies have been offered to her but she did not get a raise. Did she and her husband celebrate? She said, "Not yet, he is still making a movie. I still haven't seen him yet." Ka Ling said that her husband already did his part and she was very pleased. However she did not reveal what it was. She said, "I would be happy for me. He was more excited than me." If she had a child, would her life be more perfect? Ka Ling said not necessarily, life has many things. She would not only focus on having a child, which she would leave up to chance.

In addition, Peter Chan Ho Sun recently worked with director Teddy Chan Tak Sum on the new film THE FLYING GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI). They were rumored to be at odds and thus had to ask Andrew Lau Wai Keung for help. FLYING has been postponed half a year. Two nights ago Chan Ho Sun explained that the script was not ready and for now it had to be postponed. He said that he and Chan Tak Sum were not at odds, but the delay would cost several millions.
