Andy Lau Tak Wa two nights ago headed for the Venice Film Festival with his film A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH).  In a light mood, Wa Jai stated that he was not nervous and did not prepare too much clothes.  As for his chance to compete for an award, Wa Jai said, "I am confident, I hope to have a chance."  He said that due to his busy schedule, after the film festival he will rush back to Hong Kong and will not have time to rest and shop there.

The Lau Ching Wan starred LIFE WITHOUT PRINCIPLE (DUET MING GUM) was also in competition.  Wa Jai said that he was happy this time two Hong Kong films were selected.  As for Chinese films needing to cut down on run time for the film festival, Wa Jai said, "Run time is around two hours, our movie didn't go over two hours."

With wife Amy Kwok Oi Ming, Lau Ching Wan two nights ago headed to Rome first.  Ching Wan said that he will spend two days in Rome before going to Venice.

Promoting the film LIFE WITHOUT PRINCIPLE in Venice, Ching Wan stated that he has only seen the film during voice work.  Reportedly film festival audience thought that if films were cut down the screenings were  not complete, Ching Wan felt that overseas viewers relied on subtitles so the subtitle production should be more detailed.  Speaking of his award confidence, Ching Wan said, "I haven't thought about this, when making movies I just do my part then it's fine."
