The Xinhai Revolution 100th anniversary commemorative film YUK FOR FUNG WONG (FIRE BATHING PHOENIX) yesterday held a press conference at the Mausoleum of the 72 Martyrs in Huanghuagang, Guangzhou. Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam attended with co-star Irene Wang Bik Ha and other cast members as they presented flowers and paid their respect to the 72 Martyrs. This time the cast also included Alan Tam Wing Lun, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Raymond Lam Fung, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei and others.

Due to the blazing sun at the event, Elanne who suffered an earlier cornea injury kept tearing up. Out of respect for the event she insisted against wearing sunglasses. Elanne was very honored and nervous to be a part of the performance, so before hand she did all her homework. Aside from catching up on the history at the library and online, she also took time to visit the Xinhai Revolution Museum and attempted to experience the atmosphere then. She hoped against disappointing everyone. In the film, she had different costumes and looks in every scene. Elanne said that hopefully through this performance she would be able to learn more from the cast.
