Jimmy Wang Yu who starred in the new film WU XIA with Wai Ying Hung is now recovering from an earlier stroke in Taiwan. Wai Ying Hung yesterday promoted WU XIA and said that once she learned that Wang Yu was hospitalized she immediately called to console him. However she could not get into contact with Wang Yu, but finally she found his daughter Linda Wong Hing Ping. Wong Hing Ping said that her father was fine, this time was only a minor stroke. His physical movement has not been affected. Although the doctor already approved Wang Yu's hospital release, her daughter insisted that he rested more for his health. For now she banned him from attending events and suggested for Wang Yu to perform less.

Wai Ying Hung said that Wang Yu on the set was in great spirit. Aside from performing, off camera he even cooked for the cast. He also brought several magic props with him. When he was free he would perform for friends and entertain everyone. Wai Ying Hung said, "Wang Yu likes to perform magic very much, I also pick up a few tricks." Wai Ying Hung heard that Wang Yu would return to Hong Kong next month. Although Wang Yu liked to fly around, his daughter for his health would not permit him to move around.

Wai Ying Hung said that she has known Wang Yu for over a decade, but this time was a first collaboration. This time in the film they played a couple. Wai Ying Hung played Wang Yu's 13th wife but they did not have romantic scene. Wai Ying Hung said, "Wang Yu is a very attentive
friend. Earlier when I was sick and losing hair, he sent me some of the hair grown formula that he was advertising. The result was great. He not only helped me but also sent some every month so I would have my fill."
