Nick Cheung Ka Fai two days ago attended the Singapore Film Festival to promote his film TREASURE INN (CHOI SUN HAT JANG). Producer and director Wong Jing and Mainland actress Liu Yang also attended. This time he returned to comedy, he joked because he could not escape Wong Jing in this lifetime. He was the great power that enabled him to make comedy.

Wong Jing put on sunglasses and introduced himself as "Wong Kar Wai", which made everyone laugh. Wong Jing said that since THE TRICKY MASTER (CHIN WONG JI WONG 2000) he has not worked with Ka Fai. In addition he also developed toward dramatic films and rarely made comedy. However Wong Jing "knew what to do" and this time took the initiative to give Cheung Ka Fai a raise.

In addition, Cheung Ka Fai in the film DAI JUI BO (BIG CHASE) played a dangerous criminal. In order to be more convincingly after receiving the script he began a series of hellish physical training.

Ka Fai said that for this character, he quit sweets, starch, grease and carbohydrates for five months. Everyday he only ate chicken, steamed vegetables, and maybe two eggs, without any oil at all. Everyday he wanted to die as soon as he left for the fitness center special training, but finally he was able to overcome it.

After five months of training, Ka Fai indeed became an iron man. he pointed out that when he trained at the police academy, that tough training was no match of this training. During this period, he had to keep working out for four hours nonstop. On the first day or two he could not adjust at all and fainted three times at the gym. Later he could not stand the hunger, ran straight from the gym to the Japanese restaurant across the street and asked the chef to give him two pieces of every type of fish. In five months he lost ten pounds, he was particularly pleased with his abdominal muscles. However Ka Fai said that this type of hellish training should only be done once in a lifetime, he was determined not to have a next time.

Playing a crazy detective in the film, Simon Yam Tat Wa was very excited about his character. He said that in recent years he often played PTU, this time would be a breakthrough. Playing a veteran cop who did not follow the usual investigation process was an enormous challenge. His look would be very different from before as well.
