The 14th Annual Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival earlier announced its nominations. Media Asia's FIRE OF CONSCIENCE (FOR LUNG) was the only Hong Kong film in competition. This year over 1,000 films will participate in the Puchon International Film Festival, only 12 were nominations. Last year Dante Lam Chiu Yin won Best Director at the same event with BEAST STALKER (JING YUN). He was very pleased to be nominated again and was very excited. Both leads Leon Lai Ming and Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) also qualified for Best Actor. They expressed that they put a lot of effort into their FIRE OF CONSCIENCE performance, so they were pleased that they were recognized at the international film festival. He hoped for overseas success this time so even more people will be able to see films that are full of Hong Kong distinguishing features.

Dior Cheng Yi Kin who earlier won the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival Best Actor had a new film ONCE A GANGSTER (FEI SA FUNG JUNG SHUEN) with Jordan Chan Siu Chun. The film will also be screened at the film festival. however they did not know whether they would have time to attend.
