The film CITY UNDER SIEGE (CHUEN SING GAI BEI) will open in the summer and its stills have gradually been unveiled. Leads Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Shu Qi and director Benny Chan Muk Sing attend a Beijing press conference today. Chan Muk Sing describes CITY as a "China style Superman movie" that mixes Chinese kung fu with movie special effects. The mutants in the film know Chinese kung fu. As for the film being dubbed as China's X-MEN, Chan Muk Sing says, "The similarities between the two may be on the action sequences. Chan Muk Sing does not want the film to be equivalent to Hollywood's transformation subjects so he sells humanity and not special effects. The special effects only occupy half the film. The main story is the relationships between Kwok Fu Sing, Shu Qi, Zhang Jingchu and Jason Wu Jing. Shu Qi jokes that this time Chan Muk Sing has fooled her.
