Mainland actor Wen Zhang and the film OCEAN HEAVEN's director Xue Xiaolu yesterday visited students with autism and mild mental deficiency. They shared the film trailer and theme song with them and also celebrated Duanwu Festival in advance as they wrapped zongzi.

In the film Wen Zhang played an autism patient with Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit), Kwai Lun-Mei and others. He expressed that from learning about the production to the shoot itself he has been in contact with actual autism patients for an understanding of their lifestyle. Wen Zhang also complimented Lee Nin Kit as an actor who was worthy of respect. He said, "He took great care of me, from him I learned a lot. He didn't ask anything of me either, only telling me to do my best with the character." Director and writer Xue Xiaolu expressed that OCEAN's subject was more alternative and the audience did not have too much understanding of autism. She hoped that after watching the movie the audience would have a new experience. Did she run into any difficulty during the shoot? She said, "Before the shoot we had rehearsals so it was very smooth. In addition Wen Zhang's performance was quite a pleasant surprise." As for why she chose Lee Nin Kit to play Wen Zhang's father, she said, "Because the investors demanded it. In the past Lee Nin Kit played stronger and more heroic roles, this time he would play a very helpless person who faced adversity. Thus costume wise I would like him to look simpler."
