Two time Golden Horse Best Actor Aaron Kwok Fu Sing runs into the "seven time Best Actor" Nick Cheung Ka Fai in Oxide Pang Shun's new film CONSPIRATORS (TUNG MAU) for the first time and added more color to the film. Sing Sing's character has a "cherry picking" personality in the film, but in the film he had many dangerous action scenes including a building jump and explosions. He put a lot of effort into his performance. In one scene he fell from a train bridge onto a street food stall. As soon as the director called he fell onto the jam packed tables that were filled with people. Pang Shun was very pleased and immediately accepted the take. Only later did he realized that his hand was bleeding. the crew immediately treated him. Pang Shun played how outstanding his two dangerous scenes were and how professional he was. Sing Sing and Cheung Ka Fai earlier also admitted in an interview that knives, forks and corners of tables hid many opportunities for people to get hurt.

Was he anticipating an award to repay each of his tough performance? Sing Sing admitted, "I wouldn't deliberately think, when you have expectation you have disappointment. Putting awards in front of making movies would only hinder the performance." Earlier his film COLD WAR (HONG JIN) lost his Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor opportunity. He said, "I too hope to receive encouragement, but on the other hand the voters don't feel that it meet their standards. I have asked myself if I performed so poorly that I wasn't even nominated? I have put a lot of effort into the performance. Now I only hoped that directors, viewers, and investors would see my hard work and ask me to make more movies, so I would have a chance to be nominated next time."

Cheung Ka Fai admitted that he has never truly performed in a detective film, in addition this time he had the chance to work with Sing Sing and Pang Shun. He thought the team was rather fresh. The film was a continuation of Sing Sing's THE DETECTIVE (C+ JING TAM). Was he worried that his late addition would be compared? Ka Fai said, "A film series of course would have different characters. I wouldn't mind such a situation."
