The Emperor Motion Picture TRIAD (JAT JIK) is heating up in production.  Yesterday it shot on location in the city.  William Chan Wai Ting despite a thousand onlookers was brutally beaten, bloodied, left laying on the ground.  In order to perform personally, he joked with the director that he was "owed a beating"; however since the start of the production he only took part in beating someone and still said that it was too bloody, as he prohibited his girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin from visiting the set.

Chan Wai Ting, Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung, Shirley Yim (Shuet Lei) and her son Edward Chui Woei Dong yesterday worked on the film in Mongkok.  They not only attracted many onlookers but also two visits from the police.  Luckily the progress has not been hindered.  In yesterday's scene William helped his mother Shuet Lei with her orange stall but attracted protection money collection.  Yesterday he was beaten until he was bloodied.  Even his brothers who came to help Chui Woei Dong and Tsang Kwok Cheung were beaten to the ground along with him.  Then Tam Yiu Man came to their rescue.  William took shots to the chest, the back then stomps, all dirtied he still insisted that he had no fear and even revealed that he asked to take the beating!

William said, "This was my first time getting beaten up on the streets, I even asked the director to personally perform it and came up with 'owed a beating'.  This trick forced the director to comply in order to achieve realism.  However the funniest is by the 4th or 5th day of the shoot this was already the fourth time I took a beating but I haven't hit anyone yet."  When he revealed that the most fierce in the film was being chased by almost 60 people, which took almost 20 takes; when someone joked that his survival was a miracle, he joked, "It's no surprise that I am still around in the film, it's a surprise that I am still alive.  Actually earlier I was already a little injured on the chest from the beating, but because I still have to work on a music video and dance rehearsal I haven't had the time to see a doctor yet."  As for his girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin, he said that since they both had to work on movies in order to stay focused they have not seen each other and only relied on the phone to stay connected.  Did he need his girlfriend to comfort him?  He said no, he could comfort himself.  With fight scenes getting hurt was very normal, he would not deliberate tell her.  He guessed that she would learn about it from newspapers.  Although William gave low key responses about his relationship, when asked whether Ah Sa visited the set he could not help but said, "no, I don't want her to come either.  Ultimately it has physical and knife fights, even coffin and beating scenes, it's too bloody."  Yesterday William appeared in a four eyed dork look and said that when he was in school he truly was this "dorky" but he was active.  Was he active with girls?  He humorously said, "I went to a boys school, the (sexual) direction was very clear, haha, I was only active when I studied dance."

Tam Yiu Man before the shoot was repeatedly asked for photos with tourists from the Mainland, Japan and Thailand.  Currently he is working on a Mainland and a Hong Kong film he had to commute between them.  He said that this time he deliberately returned to Hong Kong to play a Wise Guy and went from playing a Wise Guy over a decade ago to a boss now.  He also praised William as great and very focused on his acting; he even revealed that originally he wanted his children to visit him on the set but was rejected, because his children thought parking was hard to find in Mongkok.  Shuet Lei and Chui Woei Dong worked together as mother and son, but Chui Woei Dong was asked if he asked his father Tsui Siu Keung for fight scene advice.  He said that earlier he did but not this time.

In addition, Tam Yiu Man and Irene Wan Bik Ha two nights ago worked on the film at the Diamond Hill cemetery, as the mob big sister Wan Bik Ha said that she was not afraid to work at the cemetery.  "It has a lot of mosquitoes though!"
