Leon Lai Ming, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) and director Dante Lam Chiu Yin promoted their new film FIRE OF CONSCIENCE (FOR LUNG) in Beijing. The Jeff Lau Chun Wai directed JUST ANOTHER PANDORA'S BOX (YUET GUONG BO HUP) will open on March 18. Playing the highway robber Ching Yat Sik, Ronald Cheng Chung Kei due to a misunderstanding becomes the person who the Rose Maiden Gigi Leung Wing Kei feels she is destined to love and ruthlessly pursues. Yet Ching Yat Sik dodges at every turn. In one scene Leung Wing Kei plays a prank on Cheng Chung Kei. Ronald is flown like a kite high in the air and has to scream while he runs. Although this scene is produced with computer special effects in post production, during the shoot Ronald did not have an easy time at all because he has to wear a very heavy white down costume. He was so hot that he almost fainted.

On the day of the shoot the temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius and Ronald had to be hung in midair. The blazing sun had Ronald complaining. He said that the costume shoot in the summer was already very tough, he had to wear a down costume in addition. He said that other workers soaked through their tee shirts, and with the wire the sun was right on top of him he was surprised that he did not faint from the stuffiness. Luckily the result was hilarious. Ronald said that everyone's hard work was not wasted. When he said the computer visual he already thought it was very funny and he looked forward to seeing this scene on screen.

[2010.03.08] ETHAN RUAN: WE HAVE NO PROBLEM

Ethan Ruan (Yuen King Tin)'s film MONGA is near NT$300million at the Taiwan box office. Two nights ago the team held a celebration. Siu Tin continued to be the media focus after being caught with a woman at a hotel. He hoped everyone would give him and his girlfriend Tiffany Hsu some space and expressed that "we have no problem."

The Jackie Chan starred LITTLE BIG SOLDIER (DAI BING SIU JEUNG) since its Lunar New Year's Day release has had uniformly good reviews. The Lunar New Year film 72 TENANTS OF PROSPERITY (72 GA JO HAT) has become this Lunar New Year's box office champion. Yesterday its total box office exceeded 32 million.
