Shine yesterday attended "The ONE L3 KidultLand" event. they revealed that they will soon start work on their film LOST ON A RED MINIBUS TO TAIPO (NA YEH LING SUN, NGOR JOR SEUNG LIU WONG GOK HOI WONG DAI BO DIK HUNG VAN). The lead actresses have been confirmed to be Janice Man Wing Shan and new comer Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling, other actors include Lam Suet and Simon Yam Tat Wa. Their lines will not have too much foul language as they hope the film will receive a IIB rating for release.

Because he worried that he would have a biological response so he wore an athletic protector to work. Tsui Tin Yau will perform in Tao Kit's directing debut and work on his first bed scene and was nervous. He joked, "Tao Kit asked how much can I take off, I said that it would depend on the script. I would even consider full nudity but I wouldn't show off just to show off. I will also prepare my girlfriend for that."

With the 5th anniversary of Fei Jeh Lydia Shum Din Ha's passing, friends chose to perform ALWAYS LOVE LYDIA concert on Fei Jeh's 68th birthday on June 1. Joyce Cheng Yun Yi performed for 20 minutes as a birthday gift for her late mother.

Yun Yi appeared in mid air on top of Fei Jeh's trademark giant glasses and sang 5 songs. She even reprised her "meaty" childhood performance of OOPS!...I DID IT AGAIN to avenge herself. In order to fulfill Fei Jeh's wish, Yun Yi picked up her only lesson of piano from age 6 and performance EMBRACE LOVE (YUNG PO OI). She also performed the new song that she wrote for her late mother LAUGHTER POWER (SIU NUNG LEUNG) and finally she performed a duet MAMA IS WELL (MAMA HO) with Fei Jeh.

Yun Yi held back her tears on multiple occasions. "The road of life is very long. Although Mommy couldn't keep going with me, but all I had to do is look back and I would see her cheering for me! Thank you Mommy for always loving me and protecting me, giving all your love to me. You were afraid that I would be lonely, and would secretly cry because I would miss you. Please relax! Although sometimes I would cry, I am not lonely because you are always in my heart. I Love you!" Yun Yi thanked her elders who returned from Canada, her OFF PEDDER (BUT DA JI GEI YUN) colleagues, TVB executive Tsang Lai Chung, Chan Suk Fun and her son. She only did not mention her father Adam Cheng Siu Chau. At the end, Yun Yi and the stars performed TRULY LOVE YOU (JUNG DIK OI NEI) and finally she broke off. Even Eric Tsang Chi Wai was teary eyed.

Performing artists shared their experience with Fei Jeh. Liza Wang Ming Chuen remembered that several decades ago she grew up with Fei Jeh. Although their personalities and interests were different, she always thought of her as a big sister. Jacky Cheung Hok Yau said, "Fei Jeh back then praised me for singing pretty well, and said that I definitely will be famous. Luckily she was right!"

After the show, Yun Yi admitted that she had a very hard time with holding back her tears. She forced herself to complete her solo performance before crying, but she denied that she would not be able to finish. "Mommy should accept that, I hope she enjoyed the show and that she would relax. I am a big girl and will take care of myself." Two nights ago at 2:30AM, Yun Yi posted several concert photos and a message, "Ma, did you see it?"

Chi Wai revealed that many friends shed tears back stage because they missed Fei Jeh so much. Speaking of performing Fei Jeh's egg walk again, Chi Wai said, "Breaking the eggs wasn't a problem because all I wanted to do was to relive Fei Jeh's experience. The concert proceed will be donated to Caring For Children Foundation. I don't know how much the donation will be, the figure isn't important. The most important is to complete the performance and remember Fei Jeh." He stated that he would supervise the use of the donation with Wang Ming Chuen, Cheung Hok Yau and Caring for Children Foundation board member Ho Lai Chuen.

Simon Yam Tat Wa yesterday attended a secondary school art competition award presentation. He took the chance to exchange drawing and photography experience with students. Yam Tat Wa recently has been very busy with work as he has been constantly flying all over the world. He said, "ICEMAN 3D (BING FUNG HUP) just keeps on shooting without an end. In September or October I will still have to go to the Changbai Mountain to continue the shoot."

"Fei Fei" Lydia Shum Din Ha has passed away for 5 years already. Yesterday was Fei Jeh's 68th birthday and ALWAYS LOVE LYDIA CONCERT took place at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Fei Jeh's friends gathered to remember her. Yesterday guests in the audience included Deborah Li and her husband, Mrs. Alan Tang Kwong Wing and her daughter, Fei Jeh's sister also returned from Canada to participate.

Last night the hosts were Carol Cheng Yui Ling, Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Nat Chan Pak Cheung. When the concert opened Fei Jeh's past performances were shown. Then the hosts remembered their experience with Fei Jeh. Do Do remembered that when Fei Jeh presented an award at the 2007 TVB Anniversary Award, at the time she was already ailing and had to appear on the stage in a wheel chair. Yet when she spoke she still was full of energy and said that she would not easily give up her performance career. Ah Lek has always boasted about himself, but with Fei Jeh he would only admit to be in second place because Fei Jeh was also first. Chi Wai remembered when he was misbehaving Fei Jeh smacked him in the head and yelled at him. Only because Fei Jeh was next to him he was able to be a big kid. She was everyone's parent.

Performing guests aside from Friends of ENJOY YOURSELF TONIGHT also included the Grasshoppers, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Liza Wang Ming Chuen, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Frances Yip Lai Yi and Kit Chan Kit Ling. The Grasshoppers opened the show with LET'S KEEP SMILING (YUT YU GAI JOOK SIU). They shared their experience with Fei Jeh. Nancy Sit Ka Yin and David Lo Dai Wai performed in the costumes of Fei Jeh and Roman Tam (Law Man)'s singing duo. Wu Fung dressed up like Fei Jeh and rapped, Chi Wai even reprised Fei Jeh's egg stepping classic performance, but he crushed all the eggs. When Friends of EYT performed Gossip Street they each talked about Fei Jeh's life. Lo Hoi Pang revealed that Fei Jeh was much more foul mouthed than she was, "When Shum Din Ha tested the mic, even Lo Hoi Pang has to sit down". Yeung Chin Wa thanked Fei Jeh for her blessing back then. She performed the Fei Jeh fan adaptation of her song YEUNG CHIN WA, SHUM DIN HA. The lyrics was about Fei Jeh's inner world and happy personality. Cheung Hok Yau two nights two nights ago performed many songs, aside from FEI JEH he also performed LIGHTLY TOUCH YOUR FACE because Fei Jeh liked the song.

Tsang Chi Wai pointed out that Fei Jeh's dream was for Joyce Cheng Yun Yi to inhert her talent, art and professionalism. Over the years everyone has seen Yun Yi's hard work and improvement, so Fei Jeh definitely would not be disappointed. He said to Fei Jeh, "Relax, Yun Yi will be able to spread your spirit and use this stage as proof." Yun Yi sat on Fei Jeh's trademark giant glasses and appeared in mid air. She said that when her mother passed away in 2008 she could not accept the fact, and she thanked those around her when encouraged and helped her at the time. She also remembered that her mother said whether at age 8, 18 to 80 she still had to accept challenges. Last night Yun Yi performed in the finale and was responsible for 20 minutes of the performance. She also shared details of her life with Mommy.

Yesterday afternoon when she attended the worship ceremony she said that she was the most afraid of talking, during rehearsal she broke down twice. As for her father Adam Cheng Siu Chau, Yun Yi said that he was not in Hong Kong. Thus she would tape the program for him. Chau Guoon even asked her if she needed any help and her family took turn to cheer her on. As for the rumors of her plastic surgery, Yun Yi joked that lately she has not been to Japan or Korea but she was happy that people thought she was getting prettier. She also cherished the looks that her parents gave her; when she grew older she might consider fixing the bags under her eyes. She also said that socket nose, Dumbo ears and buck teeth were trademark Cheng Yun Yi!

[2013.06.02] VICKI ZHAO LOOKS FORWARD TO A CHARACTER THAT LEAVES HER DYING WITHOUT ANY REGRET

The Vicki Zhao Wei directing debut SO YOUNG made 700 million yuan RMB in the Mainland and will open in Hong Kong on June 13. Two nights ago its Hong Kong premiere was held. Aside from Zhao Wei, producer Stanley Kwan Kam Peng, Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting) and Han Geng, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Leo Ku Kui Ke and Hacken Lee Hak Kun also showed their support.

Zhao Wei admitted that she thought that SO YOUNG would perform well at the box office but she never imagined as much as 700 million RMB. For her directing debut it is an encouragement. She did not dare to hope for the film to perform that well in Hong Kong. She only hoped to show how Mainlanders live and how their youth was spent to Hong Kong viewers. She for now has no intention to make a sequel or direct again, because she also liked her acting job very much and never thought about quitting. Later she will star in the Kwan Kam Peng directed FONG LONG GEI. The film originally was slated for production in 2012. Ah Kwan said that because Zhao Wei had to make her graduation work SO he could only make way. When asked fi the lead actor will be Chen Kun, Zhao Wei said that since she will not direct the film she asked everyone to ask Ah Kwan. Zhao Wei most recently got some weight, will she lose it before returning to acting? She covered her face with hair and said with some embarrassment, "Don't say that."

Ah Kwan said that he wanted a script first before deciding a lead actor and estimated that the production will not begin until the end of the year. He also praised first time director Zhao Wei for her ability to understand quickly, her high intelligence and emotional quotients, which made her very suitable to be a director. Yet Zhao Wei had no plan to direct again for now because she still has not reached her goal as an actress. "Fame isn't my goal, and I have won awards. I want to play once a character that is explosive and leaves no regret. So far I have yet run into a character like this, so I never thought about quitting."

Lee Hak Kun's RED SUN was a song in the film. Hacken said, "Zhao Wei called me and wanted to use my song in the movie, but its copyright ran into a little problem and she asked me for help. I never would have guessed that a song with 20 year old history would still catch someone's eyes. Due to the film being a Mainland hit, now when I attend Mainland events and perform I am asked to sing RED SUN." Zhao Wei saw her ROMANCE IN THE RAIN co-star Ku Kui Ke and was so happily that she hug him; Gei Jai said that he has not seen Zhao Wei in a long time but they stayed in touch online.
