Famous director, action director and actor Yuen Cheung Yan on New Year's Day (the 1st) passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was 68. Following the opening day box office record of $11,299,366 (Hong Kong dollars, the same below) in Hong Kong and Macau, the movie received more good news on the first day of 2026. BACK TO THE PAST's Hong Kong and Macau cumulative box office has officially surprise $20 million. After two days in release the film recorded $21,743,937 and set the record for exceeding 10 million at Hong Kong and Macau box office for two consecutive days, as the momentum continued to rise.
