Josie Ho Chiu Yi launched the first poetry collection "Lost In Your Eyes" of her artist "Doctor Male God" Iman Taheri and announced the production highlights of the poetry collection at the press conference the night before. Josie wrote the preface to the book of poems. Active in the Hong Kong film industry in the 80s, director Taylor Wong Tai Loi was rumored to have passed away yesterday. Subsequently, Tin Kai Man confirmed that Wong Tai Loi died of throat cancer.

Wong Tai Loi's love life once was the topic of gossip. He was TVB executive Elaine Lok Yi Ling's first boyfriend. Back then she admired Wong Tai Loi's talent and developed into a couple. Later they broke up because of Prudence Liew (Lau Mei Kwan), Wong Tai Loi's ex-wife who was only 18 years old when they married in 1982. In recent years, some have shared a photo with Wong Tai Loi line, in which Wong Tai Loi already had a white beard. A group photo of him attending a friend's party was leaked in July last year, mainland producer Han Xu was also present. In August last year he produced the film JUNG BA and made an appearance.     In the Sweets Land, where snacks and humans coexist harmoniously, the globally renowned idol group "Dream Animals" is currently on a world tour. [2025.07.16] FORMER TVB ARTIST NG BOK KWAN PASSED AWAY FROM ALS AT AGE 69

Former TVB artist Ng Bok Kwan suffered from ALS in 2018. Although he had withdrawn from the entertainment industry for 20 years at the time, when news of financial difficulties came out artists who either worked with him or did not know him in the past also came to his aid. Yesterday the Yo! Go Charity Foundation announced on social platforms that Ng Bok Kwan passed away from illness on July 2nd at the age of 69, and his funeral was completed the day before yesterday.

Always concerned about Ng Bok Kwan's situation, the former deputy director of the Publicity Department of the TVB Communications Department Tsang Sing Ming replied to the media that Mrs. Ng Bok Kwan thanked everyone for their concern. Mrs. Ng said, "My husband passed away peacefully at home on the evening of July 2nd without any pain, and the farewell ceremony was completed the day before yesterday. My husband did not want to bother his friends, so the announcement was only made after the funeral was completed."

Mrs. Ng said that throughout the treatment of the past seven or eight years, she is grateful for the concern and care from all walks of life; especially those who have donated money. Reportedly Nancy Sit Ka Yin, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Andy Lau Tak Wah and others also provided financial support to Ng Bok Kwan.

Ng Bok Kwan entered the industry through the TVB artist training class and played many minor roles. He was laid off by TVB in 1997, then worked in different industries and lived with his wife as ordinary people. In 2018 he was admitted to the hospital with ALS, his limbs were weak, his muscles contracted, and he was bedridden for a long time. He lost his ability to work, and his wife had to quit her job to take care of his daily life. He was only able to receive disability allowance, but not comprehensive social security assistance. With the monthly medical cost of HK$ 10,000, the couple could only rely on their saving and had enormous financial stress. At that time the news of Ng Bok Kwan's illness concerned many people in the circle. The Artist Training Alumni Association, the Performing Artists Guild, and individual artists donated money to provide support, which made him feel the love of the world. The Performing Artists Guild once filmed an interview with Ng Bok Kwan and posted it on the Internet to raise donations. In the video he said that even in the face of illness and adversity, he would not give up no matter what. Although he was never a leading actor, he had no regrets about being an actor because of his love for acting, "An actor for a day, an actor for a lifetime".

Veteran artist Suet Nei and her husband famous action director Tang Chia (Tong Kai, Brother Kai) passed away. Yesterday their funeral took place at 10 o'clock in the morning. The coffins were immediately transported to the Cape Collinson Crematorium for cremation. Their friends, junior colleagues and disciples like the famous action director Yuen Bun, Ti Lung and his wife Tao Man Ming, John Chiang Dai Wai and his wife Maggie Li Linlin, Petrina Fung Bo Bo, and a number of members of the "Hong Kong Stuntmen Association" attended the funeral ceremony to mourn and send the model couple in the film industry on their last journey.

Rarely appearing in public, Fung Bo Bo arrived at about 9:40 a.m. Dressed in plain clothes, she looked particularly thin in the morning light. She sadly said that Tong Kai and Suet Nei were colleagues she respected very much. Sister Suet Nei even invited her to be her bridesmaid for their wedding; she admitted that the ways Tong Kai and his wife passed were difficult to accept, but considering the current environment in Hong Kong everyone was already in a bad mood. She did not want this matter to add to everyone's sadness. Perhaps everyone could think of it another way, as they were able to be with each other until the end, which is a blessing. Ultimately remaining alone in old age might not be all that carefree either. Did she know about Suet Nei's illness earlier? She said that it happened in a very short period of time, and few people were in the know. She explained that she did not visit Sister Suet Nei because she was worried that seriously ill patients would have to spend energy to greet visitors, which would instead increase the burden. She thought that sending a card would be more appropriate.

Referring to the unforgettable memories with the two, Fung Bo Bo said, "There are a lot, but they were all in the early years when I was making movies as a teenager. Brother Kai was a very nice person. This decision he made was very suddenly, but I feel that they have always kept their marriage vows. It is indeed a blessing to be able to grow old together and finally be reunited."

Although Fung Bo Bo did not disclose the time of the last time they met, she admitted that she was deeply affected after learning the bad news. She even woke up crying from nightmares. "I have a sensitive personality and am easily affected by emotions. (Did you dream of them?) I woke up crying."

After the funeral ceremony was completed, everyone gradually walked out of the funeral parlor around 10:50 AM. Family members carried the posthumous photos of Brother Kai and Sister Suet Nei and accompanied the two hearses to Cape Collinson. While descending the stairs, Fung Bo Bo and Chiang Dai Wai each held on to Li Linlin. Every step was taken solemnly.

Yeung Pan Pan, Ti Lung and wife, John Chiang Dai Wai and Maggie Li Linlin, Petrina Fung Bo Bo and others also went to Cape Collinson Crematorium to bid farewell to Tong Kai and Suet Nei for the last time. After the cremation ceremony was completed, everyone before leaving followed the ritual of "hurdling a fire basin".
