Best Actor Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Terrance Lau Chun Him appeared
on television to promote the movie PEG O' MY HEART (SHOOK MUNG). The
four time director Ka Fai thought that he had made progress, but he was
still under a lot of pressure. When he learned that Lau Chun Him also
wanted to be a director, Ka Fai immediately persuaded, "Don't be stupid!
It's so hard!" He also joked, "As a director you should ask me to make
the movie! Got it?" Chun Him joked that he would create a character
who constantly gives away hearts, "Brother Heart". Ka Fai heard the and
said: "I can play the role, I can't do it in real life. For a character
I can even take off my pants!"
Ronald Cheng says that the most difficult mission is to get into shape

The Ronald Cheng Chung Kei and Mark Wu Yiu Fai co-directed and
starred movie ATONEMENT (AH LUNG) wrapped up production in 2018 and will
be released in April this year. In the past six months Cheng Chung Kei
had a "manager turmoil", and revealed that he was suffering from
depression and alcoholism. His wife accompanied him to the United
States to quit drinking. His YouTube channel, RTV (Running Television),
has lost its soul, and its artists occasionally made new videos. Cheng
Chung Kei pointed out that the former manager Ho Hing Sheung had
problems with his work and ethics and left the position, which became a
hot topic online. Due to the release of ATONEMENT, Cheng Chung Kei will
face media interviews for publicity, and he would inevitably be asked
about his relationship with Ho Hing Sheung.
The movie tells the story of Ah Lung (Cheng Chung Kei) and his
8-year-old daughter (Fu Shun Ying) going on vacation in Thailand, and
local human trafficking syndicate abducts his daughter. Ah Lung risks
everything and becomes an avenger with blood on his hands. From creation
to the birth of the film, Cheng Chung Kei's most difficult task is to
train a strong body, and experience weight gain and weight loss in half
a year. In the special feature on the production, his fitness process is
fully exposed. He says that the birth of ATONEMENT is based on news
reports, and some parents planted the root cause of trouble due to
negligence of their children. He wanted to bring out a message through
this movie, "As soon as you take your eyes off your children, it might
become a big mistake".
Before the filming of ATONEMENT, Cheng Chung Kei spent half a
year on training. The hardest thing was to keep eating, otherwise he
would not be muscular enough. Later he began to diet to slim down, only
eating chicken breasts. He even ran for his physical fitness. Cheng
Chung Kei was not satisfied with his state, but the boss and Wu Yiu Fai
were. He also could not tell the production team to keep waiting.

Fala Chen continues her role from the new film in the music video courtesy of mingpao.com
The movie PEG O' MY HEART (SHOOK MUNG) was Nick Cheung Ka Fai
written, directed and starred. He was also the lead singer of the movie
theme song ETERNAL INSOMNIA, the song and music video would be launched
on the 28th of this month. Ka Fai said that every position is
challenging and stressful. If he has the opportunity to do so, he would
like to focus on only one job.
ETERNAL INSOMNIA was Ka Fai sung, and the music video
starred Ka Fai and Fala Chen. Ka Fai joked, "Because of the limited
production budget, I also sang the theme song of KEEPER OF DARKNESS (TOR
DEI KUI MOR YUN) to save money. I have a starring role in the film. I
hope to bring out even more room for the audience to fantasize. As for
inviting Fala Chen to shoot the music video, she is also the lead
actress in the movie. She works on the music video because I want to
continue the role in the film." Very passionate about singing, Ka Fai
only took two or three hours to complete the recording of the theme
song this time. In the music video, Ka Fai had a scene of dancing on
the water. He said that the director requested him to dance, and he
just cooperated.
Mark Lui Chung Tak composed the song and Chu Lam wrote the lyrics.
Mark said, "I remember walking with my dog that day, when I received a
call from Ka Fai's manager. I found out that I needed to write a movie
theme song. They told me the story of PEG O' MY HEART, after hearing it
I was very touched and full of inspiration. So I immediately thought
of ETERNAL INSOMNIA's chorus lyrics and melody." In an instant, he
recorded the melody of the whole song on his mobile phone, and his
creative time may have only taken a few dozen minutes because he was
very excited about the subject matter of the movie. Mark added, "I have
worked with Ka Fai on KEEPER OF DARKNESS before. I have always admired
his acting skills, determination to do things and his love for his
wife, so I think his interpretation of this song can be said to be 100
points. His skill in using his voice to express feelings is beyond
any doubt, I also love this work deeply. With my preference for Ka
Fai, it is logical to score 100 points."

Marco Ng hopes for an ideal box office performance for THE WAY WE TALK and does not mind hip hop dance to thank the audience courtesy of mingpao.com
The movie THE WAY WE TALK (HONG NGOR GUM TIN JUM MOR SUET) held
a charity screening of the "Caring For Children Foundation" the night
before, with Khaki Leung Choi Yi as the emcee. The film's producer
Jacqueline Liu Yuen Hung and actor Marco Ng Tsz Ho, Vice Chairman of the
"CFC Foundation" Ho Lai Chuen , as well as CFCF star volunteers To Yin
Gor, Venus Wong Man Yik and Michelle Yim (Mai Suet), who had throat
discomfort, showed up to support the event. During the event, Liu Yuen
Hung called on everyone to support the film and pay attention to and
respect the hearing-impaired, while Ng Tsz Ho even said that if the box
office would be good, he would perform Hip Hop dance to thank the
audience.
Wong Man Yik's husband Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung did not accompany
her. She smiled and pointed out that her husband was busy, but she
herself was also busy with film and television. Currently working on a
new film, she would appear without make up in the film. She described
it as a challenge. The production of the new drama QUEEN OF NEWS 2 will
start in the middle of next month, which could be called seamless and
fortunately the two had no schedule overlap. "If the schedules really
overlap, I will still work on them. I am only afraid that breaking
continuity, fortunately such a situation has not occurred for the time
being. I can concentrate on playing each role." Speaking of Charmaine
Sheh Sze Man joking about catching up on the QUEEN OF NEWS 2 script like
she was collecting debts, Wong Man Yi said, "I am catching up on the
script like a novel, because the plot of the last series is wonderful.
This episode would also be very exciting, the plot is so enjoyable.
Every character has evolved, so I have asked the screenwriters when
there will be a new script." The first season has caused a great
response, would that add to the pressure of the second season? She
admitted that she was the master of nervousness, when she was nervous
her sleep could be affected. Her skin would deteriorate and her skin
would become like a rash, but this time she did not because she was more
excited than nervous. Would she ask her director husband for acting
advice? She laughed and said that the two of them have a clear
distinction between public and private. It was more appropriate to
ask the team she was working with for work problems, unless they
encounter production problems. Then she would ask her husband for
advice.
In addition, veteran actor To Yin Gor left TVB. He said that
this year would be the 50th year he has been in the industry, and he has
also cooperated with TVB for more than 30 years. Thus he really wanted
some changes, just like changing the tracks. He would try to work with
different teams, making more movies and producing programs, such as
going to some mountainous areas that are rarely visited by tourists for
in-depth tours. It could be both a tourism and food programs, but also
introduce local people's customs and products to achieve a win-win
situation. Would he work on TVB dramas again? He said, "We broke up
happily. TVB was very good to me, and took the initiative to give me
raises twice. Maybe the TV station lacks actors of my age, so if
there is a suitable script we can work together again." As for his
wife Han Ma Lei, he said that his wife was in very good health and did
not mind working as a husband and wife team. However it would depend
on the script as they would not want to be too deliberate. However he
would not ask his wife to travel in depth because it would be too hard.

The movie TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI
JI WAI SING) set off a "walled city fever" after its release in Japan
last month, and many actors and "barbecued pork rice" in the film became
popular. In order to thank the Japanese audience, Louis Koo Tin Lok and
director Soi Cheang Pou Soi led the "Three Sons of the Walled City"
Raymond Lam Fung, Tony Wu Tsz Tung and German Cheung Man Kit to attend
two audience appreciation performances at a cinema in Shinjuku, Tokyo,
and interacted with the audience. It was rumored that the tickets for
2,500 yen (about HK$130) were price scalped to 65,000 yen (about HK$3,400).
When Koo Tin Lok and his group of five people appeared in the
theater, the entire audience cheered. Koo Tin Lok took the lead in
greeting the audience in Japanese, "Hello everyone, I'm Koo Tin Lok, I
love you." Lam Fung went on to say that he was very happy that everyone
liked TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN and hoped to bring another good
work in the future. Wu Tsz Tung revealed that he will start filming the
second and third movies related to TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS in the future,
and will try his best to cooperate with the director. Like Koo Tin Lok,
Cheung Man Kit greeted the audience in Japanese as well and said, "I love
you." He also made the heart gestures.
The host announced that as of the day before yesterday,
TWILILGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN had more than 130,000 viewers in
Japan, and its box office exceeded 200 million yen (about HK$10.4
million). Koo Tin Lok, director Cheang Pou Soi, Lam Fung, Wu Tsz Tung,
and Cheung Man Kit were very happy. The host asked the audience how many
times have they watched TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN? Some
said 20 times, and Koo Tin Lok and others were surprised and excited.
Director Cheang Pou Soi admitted that the popularity of TWILIGHT OF THE
WARRIORS: WALLED IN in Japan surprised him. He believed that there were
many factors, including the presence of comic book elements in the
action scenes and the recreation of the Kowloon Walled City. He
admitted that his fondness for Japanese anime and mange since childhood
has influenced him, and the friendship described in the movie were the
reasons why everyone liked it.
A group of actors were asked about memorable scenes in the
film. Koo Tin Lok said that it was Lam Fung's barbecued pork rice
scene, because rice and barbecued pork flew all over his face. Since
the director did not yell cut, he had to continue acting. Lam Fung
thanked the action director Kenji Tanigaki, whose action scenes were
very memorable for him. Wu Tzu Tung liked the scene when the "Four Sons
of the Walled City" sat on the high-rise of the walled city to watch the
plane, feeling full of hope for the future. He hoped to convey the
message of not giving up and persevering; Cheung Man Kit liked the
mahjong scene because it is the last scene. After that, the five made
their fighting poses from the film for the media to take pictures, and
they also sat in the audience to take a group photo.
In addition, at the International Press Academy organized 29th
Satellite Awards, TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN won the "Best
Stunt Award". The film's action director Kenji Tanigaki personally
went to the U.S. to accept the award. Kenji Tanigaki was also nominated
for the 43rd Hong Kong Film Awards Best Action Choreography.

Sau starred, Adam Wong Sau Ping directed movie THE WAY WE TALK (HONG
NGOR GUM TIN JUM MOR SUET) was released last Thursday (20th), with a
cumulative box office of more than HK$ 2.5 million in Hong Kong and

watch it. "More people watching it can make the number of screening
continue. The content of the movie is so interesting, I want more
people to see it." THE WAY WE TALK was nominated for 7 Hong Kong Film
Awards, competing with the over HK$ 100 million box office TWILIGHT OF
THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI JI WAI SING) and THE LAST

that there was no pressure because the genres were different. The
audience could also like several movies at once. Was she confident
about winning the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress? She said that she
was confident that she would be there to enjoy the show, and she hoped
that the film would win the behind the scenes awards like the best sound

Louis Cheung, Bowie Wu and Charlene Choi attend their Lunar New Year film MY BEST BET celebration courtesy of mingpao.com
The Lunar New Year film MY BEST BET (CHEUNG DOH BITG YANG)
recently held an appreciation banquet, director Andy Lo (Law Yiu Fai),
Louis Cheung Kai Chung (Ah Chung), Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin (Ah Sa),
Bowie Wu Fung (Brother Sau), Tommy Chu Pak Hong (Chu Hong), Kaki Sham,
Ng Ka Yan (Kayan), Lam Yiu Sing, Bryant Mak Chi Lok and Vanora Hui Yuet
Sheung attended. As everyone popped bottles of champagne to celebrate,
Ah Chung, Ah Sa and Brother Sau also toasted from table to table and
were full of festive and joyful atmosphere. Ah Sa even collected energy
to fight for a sequel with producer Ng Kin Hung. The producer responded
to everyone needs, and would consider a new film with the original cast.
The audience applauded in response. Ah Sa hoped that everyone would
keep on working, working everyday, and for the film industry toe end its
winter soon.
Ah Sa and Ah Chung spent almost everyday this Lunar New Year at
the theater. Ah Chung felt as if he was working for the theater. Ah Sa
described the process of thanking the audience for more than a month,
which made her feel like she had held many talk shows. She felt both
happy and fulfilled. Ah Chung even admired Ah Sa's extraordinary
courage for thanking the audience alone. Ah Sa claimed that she was
not as eloquent as Ah Chung and Chu Hong, but since her friends
chartered the theater she had to show up to thank them. She laughed and
said, "On the day of thanking the audience alone, my manager and I both
carried a giant cardboard with 'MY BEST BET' through the busy streets of
Central to rush to the theater. It was just like a parade, truly the
first time in my life. It was very funny. However I am the happiest
about whether family, friends or fans they are very supportive,
especially the fans. They not only watch one show, some of them also
follow our audience appreciation schedule to buy tickets for the shows,
some even charter the venue. These fans are from all over the world,
they give me motivation and support that makes me feel as if I have had
many fan gatherings at one time. They are very heartwarming. So even
though I didn't have a holiday in the New Year, I felt like I needed to
work harder to thank them. What is even happier is to thanking the
audience with Ah Chung and Chu Hong, every show is full of joy. I
can't stop laugh from their quick wit, eloquence, words and deeds, so
this New Year I really live up to the name of laughing through the New
Year."
In addition to interacting with netizens and audiences, Ah Chung
also interacted with other Lunar New Year film opponents; including
German Cheung Man Kit who mischievously left a challenge letter for him
at the theater. He also replied very sincerely. Ah Chung said,
"Although we are competitors and have our own Lunar New Year film
releases, I think this kind of interaction is very good. We support
each other. We are not enemies, but 'comrades-in-arms'. I hope that
every movie would have good box office, which would be the most perfect.
This interactive atmosphere is a good change, and I hope it will keep on
going!" As for the experience of more than 50 audience appreciation
shows, Ah Chung described his level of dedication. He was able to jump
in the vehicle after the end of each show and fall right to sleep. They
were definitely a physical challenge.
In addition, Chu Hong frankly said that he hoped that each of
his works can be successful, just like THE LAST DANCE (POR. DEI YUK).
This time MY BEST BET was also satisfactory for him. Referring to
starting the wave with the audience in the process of thanking them, he
said, "I started the wave to push the atmosphere of joy to an even
higher level, but the biggest feeling is that I was happy to prove that
there were still audiences in the theater to watch the movie. I hope
that Hong Kong films will continue to work hard."
As for if the movie would really make a sequel or a new film
with the original cast, Chu Hong hoped to continue to appear in the
sequel as Ian Suen, the Chinese-Korean and talk about his life in
prison. The object of his pursuit in the film, Kayan, would visit him
in prison and continued all kinds of relationships. Playing the blind
gambler, Kaki Sham laughed and said, "The director is very good to me.
He told me to play blind, but didn't need me to close my eyes. So I
hope that if there is a sequel, I can open my eyes again." Kayan was
also looking forward to visiting Ian Suen in the men's prison to
continue the relationship. She also enjoyed the joy of thanking the
audience for her first Lunar New Year film. She could also accept lai
see as she came to promote, and she was very happy to experience the
joyful atmosphere of the New Year at the theater for the first time.

but the quantity is not much. He will book it until the right year to
get the stock. Has he ever wanted to have his own winery? He said that
he has not thought about it, but he enjoyed going to the winery to taste
the wine. Goo Jai has always been a good drinker, but he has been
drinking a lot less recently. "It's not for health that I drink less.
I have gone a month without a drink before, but in the end I couldn't do
it; because sometimes when I talk about work with others, the atmosphere
would be better."
Goo Jai will travel to Japan tomorrow to thank the audiences for
TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI JI WAI SING).
Speaking of the popularity of the film in Japan and the ticket price is
more than 20 times higher and more than HK$ 5,000 a piece, Goo Jai said
that this is really unexpected, "Now the number of screening theaters in
Japan has increased from 100 to more than 1,000, and there are big
theaters. I really didn't expect it to be so popular. The famous video
game designer Hideo Kojima also said that he really likes our movie,
even barbecued pork rice has become popular."
Would Goo Jai take the opportunity to open a restaurant in Japan
to sell Hong Kong-style barbecued pork rice? He laughed and said that
he did not have such an idea, but he believed that there would be many
local restaurants that would sell barbecued pork rice. On the just
announced list of nominees for the Hong Kong Film Awards, TWILIGHT OF
THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN was nominated for 14 nominations. Goo Jai was
shortlisted for "Best Supporting Actor". Was he confident about
winning? Goo Jai said, "The nomination is already a recognition.
Winning or not doesn't matter. I hope everyone can see the efforts of
our team, but I am very happy to go to Japan to promote this time;
because it has not been a long time since Hong Kong films have been so
popular overseas." Would the filming of the prequel and sequel be
accelerated? Goo Jai said that he also had to look at the progress of
the script. This time he went to Japan to promote, he knew that the
locals have held a lot of exhibitions on the retrospective and
conservation of Hong Kong culture, and many people introduced Hong
Kong's places and cuisine, which would certainly be helpful in promoting
Hong Kong's tourism industry.
Speaking of Lee Shan Shan's on screen comeback, Goo Jai said
that Shan Shan has opened an online channel for awhile, and of course
he would support her return. "Her illness has haunted her for many
years, and contact with more people will help her health; but she
suffers from panic disorder, and her hands will sweat when she goes out
on the crowded street. I can only ask her to go out to places with
fewer people as much as possible, try to get in touch with people. She
can return to work, as a friend I am very happy." Shan Shan said that
she would start anew and work to make money. If someone asked her to
make a film, she would also perform if it was suitable. Would Goo Jai
consider inviting her to make a film? Goo Jai said, "I have to have a
suitable role, I also need to understand her physical condition.
Because she has been sick for a long time, and I know that she has had a
flu and been in the hospital before; so she must take care of her body
first!" Shan Shan's comeback has to face some not-so-good comments,
what tips would Goo Jai have for her? Goo Jai said, "The mouths are on
other people, so she is better off improving herself, be herself
positively. Her biggest is her health problem, she needs to have
positive energy to be able to face work."
Goo Jai was recently brought to the High Court by the former
chairman of Sun Entertainment Culture (now known as Sunny Side Up
Culture Holdings, 8082) Alex Dong to recover $8.3 million from him. In
2013 and 2014, Goo Jai allegedly to have cooperated with Alex Dong to
invest in the distribution of fashion and food and beverage businesses.
On January 31st, Alex Dong filed a lawsuit against One Cool Property
Limited (Goo Jai's company) for a sum of about HK$37 million. The suit
alleges that in 2014, Alex Dong contributed over HK$37 million to
acquire a property valued at HK$ 58 million on Hung To Road in Kwun Tong
for the Company. He also accepted an offer by the artist Louis Koo Tin
Lok on behalf of the Company to hold part of the property ownership on
behalf of Dong in the form of a trust. Dong now asks the court to
declare that the relevant trust agreement is valid. The company was
asked to account for the relevant accounts or return the HK$37 million
that Tang had originally invested. In response to a reporter's question
yesterday, Goo Jai revealed that he had been handed over to a lawyer for
handling.

The Vincent Chow Wing directed, Julia Chu Ka Yi, Catherine Hun
Ka Chun, Lam Bing Kwan produced, Simon Yam Tat Wah, Stephy Tang Lai Yan,
Mimi Kung Chi Yan, Kevin Chu Kam Yin, Amy Lo Wai Man, Fung So Bo and
others starred film LITTLE RED SWEET (HUNG DAU) two nights ago held the
charity premiere of the Rotary Club of Channel Islands was held the
night before. The actors and the main creators of the film attended the
opening ceremony for the opening of "Cheung Hing Kee", a dessert shop
run by Brother Wah in the film. The scene was lively. Brother Wah
through the new film warned the audience to be kind to their families,
laughing and saying that it would be even sweeter to have a bowl of red
bean soup and watch the movie. He said that he was optimistic that
Michael Hui Koon Man would win the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor, but
regretted that Dayo Wong Tze Wah was not nominated.
Regarding the great contrast between the character in the film
and himself, Yam Tak Wah admitted frankly that his daughter after
watching the movie gave him a hesitant look. Former lovers Kevin Chu
Kam Yin and Amy Lo Wai Man were interviewed at the same time, and their
performances were completely different; one was embarrassed and nervous,
and the other was generous and natural.
Brother Wah said with a smile that he made a special trip to
have a bowl of red bean soup before attending the charity premiere, and
said that he would work hard to thank the audience. He praised the
delicate feelings of the movie, and hoped that everyone would like this
warm story that took place in Kowloon City under the same roof.
Speaking of the previous box office success of TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS:
WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI JI WAI SING), coupled with the imposing
movie NE ZHA 2 that would be released in the same period, would there be
added box office pressure to this movie? Brother Wah humorously said,
"I am not afraid, the audience can watch LITTLE RED SWEET before or
after watching NE ZHA 2 and have a bowl of red bean soup, which would be
even sweeter."
Brother Wah said that he has no pressure on the box office,
because he has always said that movies about 18 districts has always
done well at the box office; but he hoped to warn everyone with a
character. "I played Cheung Hing in the film, whom no one should learn
from. It is wrong, because he doesn't know how to take care of the
family; he only lives in his own life circle, has not integrated into
the big world. He has a stubborn and 'rigid' personality, and does not
treat his daughter well. I hope this incorrect demonstration would make
everyone think after watching the movie."
LITTLE RED SWEET became the closing film of the East Asian Film
Festival in London last year. In the UK at the time, his daughter Ella
Yam Ching Kai had a sneak peek and saw her father who was different from
reality. Brother Wah said with a smile: "After my daughter watched this
film, she looked at me with hesitant eyes. She probably was thinking
why I would be like this in the film, it was a side she has never seen
before." Next to him his on screen daughter Stephy praised Brother Wah
was a good father, so her daughter probably feel very fresh. Speaking
of her old flame Alex Fong Lik Sun getting married, she said that she
has congratulated him in the friend group. Would she learn from him
and give everyone a surprise? She joked, "My surprise would be at my
concerts."
Brother Wah also congratulated Stephy on being nominated for the
Hong Kong Film Awards "Best Supporting Actress", praising Stephy for
having a great chance of winning the award. As for the "Best Actor", he
praised all 5 candidates for being very good but personally he supported
Michael Hui Koon Man. Because every actor in THE LAST DANCE (POR. DEI
YUK) had drama, and the whole movie's cast and crew were very good.
Unfortunately Dayo Wong Tze Wah was not nominated.
In addition, when Chu Kam Yin and his old flame Amy spoke to the
media together they were asked if it was embarrassing to cooperate in
filming? Chu Kam Yin joked: "Yes, it's very awkward and uneasy. I want
to leave immediately, but I am just joking." However his on-site
performance was so nervous that he was all "stiff"; Amy, on the other
hand, was natural and generous. She was very happy to participate in a
warm movie, and felt very warm with the crew and actors like a family.
If there is a new film that asks the two to play a couple, would they
agree? Chu Kam Yin initially refused, and then pointed out that it was
just a joke. With the opportunity to perform the role did not matter;
Amy also said that she would accept it and cherish every job
opportunity. She also revealed that she was working hard to practice
singing and hoped to develop in many aspects. If she would have the
chance to release a song she would like to ask Stephy for advice.
In addition, Brother Wah and Stephy spoke about their father
and daughter relationship in LITTLE RED SWEET on the ViuTV program
THE POPCORN SHOW that would air tonight. From a single family, Stephy
admitted that her impression of her father was blurry. When she saw
Papa's younger photos she always thought that he looked very much like
Brother Wah. Since childhood she has thought that Papa probably was
Brother Wah. Brother Wah said that in his teens, his marine police Papa
passed away on the job. His impression of Papa remained deep.
With his daughter, Raymond Lam absolutely is a full score daddy
Jennifer Yu courtesy of on.cc
Raymond Lam Fng was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards Best
Actor for the first time this year, and would compete for the award with
fellow first time nominee Neo Yau Hawk Sau, as well as Sean Lau Ching
Wan, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Michael Hui Koon Man and other good actors.
Before the score was settled, Lam Fung and Yau Hawk Sau would first
work together on a new film with Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress
Jennifer Yu Heung Ying.
"The 43rd Hong Kong Film Awards" recently announced its
nominations, Raymond Lam Fung and Neo Yau Hawk Sau respectively with
TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI JI WAI SING),
THE WAY WE TALK (HONG NGOR GUM TIN JUM MOR SUET) received their first
Best Actor nominations. Before the race, they would work together on
the new film MIN SI DUT GUNG DUI (INTERVIEW STRIKE TEAM, tentative
title), the lead actress would be last year's Hong Kong Film Awards Best
Actress winner Jennifer Yu Heung Ying. They hoped her good luck would
rub off on them for a good omen!
The film tells the story of parents who come up with strange
interviews in order to help their children get into prestigious schools,
and ended up in a lot of jokes. Lam Fung played the role of an anxious
father. Different from the previous role, it could be regarded as a new
challenge. Reportedly the film has been secretly started recently,
going to Tsuen Wan, Tai Kok Tsui and other places. Lam Fung has not
joined the production yet, and the scene was focused on Jennifer. A few
days ago she filmed a dramatic scene in front of a snack shop in Tsuen
Wan, attracting many onlookers. Because the film has not released any
news, so some online once thought that she was filming the drama UNCLE
MUM. Jennifer looked tired when she was not in a scene, it turned out
that she was unwell that day; but in order not to affect the filming
progress, she insisted on going into battle.
Also a full score daddy in reality, Lam Fung strived for time to
enjoy family fun before joining the production. His wife Zhang Xinyue
shared a short video of their family of 3's Dali visit on social
networks earlier. Lam Fung tried to cheer up Luna, carried her in a
sedan chair and fed her. He specifically wore a tall straw hat to
create a funny look, which made Luna laugh nonstop.

Nick Cheung Ka Fai yesterday in order to support his junior
colleague Chung Suet Ying took time to attend the premiere of the movie
THE WAY WE TALK (HONG NGOR SUM TIN JUM MOR SUET). Cheung Ka Fai said
that during the film festival in Italy earlier, he happened to meet
THE LYRICIST WANNABE (TIN CHI L)'s Chung Suet Ying and director Norris
Wong Yi Lam and took the opportunity to invite them to attend the
premiere of the new film PEG O' MY HEART (SHOOK MUNG) later. He did not
expect that THE WAY We TALK would be released even earlier. He had no
reason not to support Chung Suet Ying first, so he made the trip to show
his support. He even said that Chung Suet Ying had a plan. She did not
notify him about her film release so he would take the initiative to
show his support. He knew that she started as a singer. "Now her
development is a little better. She is an actor hindered by her singer
identity, I am just the opposite. My singing is pretty good." Would
they collaborate on music? He smiled and said, "If we have the
opportunity we can talk again, we can write a new version of 'Lovesick
in the Storm' (SEUNG SZE FUNG YU JUNG) duet." He praised Chung Suet
Ying for having character, her acting skills were not "conformist" and
very unusual, and he liked and appreciated her. Would they have
opportunities to act together? He said that he has not worked on an
early Republic film in a very long time. "Even if we work together we
would just play a couple! I will leave that to fate. If we have the
opportunity to work together of course it would be good. I want to
tailor made something but I haven't yet, let's go everyone! " Chung
Suet Ying said that she also wanted to play a couple with Cheung Ka Fai,
an ancient costumes film would be the best.
Speaking of this year's Hong Kong Film Awards announcing its
list of nominees a few days ago, did he have any thoughts about the Best
Actor and Best Actress? Cheung Ka Fai said because he had many friends,
he could not publicly support any nominated actor. "My thought is no
matter who wins it's good, everyone deserves encouragement. (Is Chung
Suet Ying your favorite to win?) I can't publicly say anything like this,
I would be happy for all the winners." Would he pick his old buddy Sean
Lau Ching Wan to win the Best Actor? He said, "I heard that
he is a big favorite, anyone with the skills deserves it. If he truly
performs well then he would win! We can't say he has won before and not
give it to him."
