Raymond Lam Fng was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actor for the first time this year, and would compete for the award with fellow first time nominee Neo Yau Hawk Sau, as well as Sean Lau Ching Wan, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Michael Hui Koon Man and other good actors. Before the score was settled, Lam Fung and Yau Hawk Sau would first work together on a new film with Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress Jennifer Yu Heung Ying.

The film tells the story of parents who come up with strange interviews in order to help their children get into prestigious schools, and ended up in a lot of jokes. Lam Fung played the role of an anxious father. Different from the previous role, it could be regarded as a new challenge. Reportedly the film has been secretly started recently, going to Tsuen Wan, Tai Kok Tsui and other places. Lam Fung has not joined the production yet, and the scene was focused on Jennifer. A few days ago she filmed a dramatic scene in front of a snack shop in Tsuen Wan, attracting many onlookers. Because the film has not released any news, so some online once thought that she was filming the drama UNCLE MUM. Jennifer looked tired when she was not in a scene, it turned out that she was unwell that day; but in order not to affect the filming progress, she insisted on going into battle.

Also a full score daddy in reality, Lam Fung strived for time to enjoy family fun before joining the production. His wife Zhang Xinyue shared a short video of their family of 3's Dali visit on social networks earlier. Lam Fung tried to cheer up Luna, carried her in a sedan chair and fed her. He specifically wore a tall straw hat to create a funny look, which made Luna laugh nonstop.
