The Malaysian Lunar New Year films were also highly competitive, as of the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, Bobby Auyeung Chun Wah's MONEY GAMES (BOON GUNG BAK LEUNG) drew 4.8 million ringgit (about HK$ 8.354 million). Known as the "Lucky General of Ratings", he successfully kept the gold label! The Anita Yuen Wing Yee starred OMG! MOM'S BIG NEWS (OMG! AH MA YAU HEI)'s box office exceeded 1 million ringgit (about HK$1.74 million), and the results were decent; on the other hand, Louis Koo Tin Lok's HIT N FUN (LUM SI KUET DAU) only collected RM580,000 (about HK$1,009,000).
In response to the accusations of "domineering and viciousness" in the past during the earlier promotion, Anita Yuen Wing Yee generously said, "It is the misunderstanding of me from the outside. I have always reminded myself to keep my original intention." Regarding the reduction in production in recent years, she bluntly said that there is an age limit for actresses: "I want to shoot some works that I haven't tried before. I don't want people to say, 'You haven't filmed for so long', so I will come out for a shoot; but it may not be my favorite work."
