Stephen Fung Tak Lu went to "Comic Con 2026" yesterday to promote his original animation and comic book intellectual property "BUCKET MAN". The 6-meter-high giant blow up doll on the scene was quite eye-catching. He also invited in the "French God of Gamblers" who battled Stephen Chow Sing Chi in "GOD OF GAMBLERS III: BACK TO SHANGHAI", Michael Wong Man Tak's older brother Declan Wong as the guest performer. They reprised one of the gambling scenes from the film. Declan even recited his classic line "I want to check the card" on the spot and cracked up the entire audience. Fung Tak Lun intended to make another gambling film, would release the comic version of the God of Gambler to test the water and wait for a boss to be willing to invest in the production.

Fung Tak Lun sincerely asked Declan Wong to come to Hong Kong from New Zealand to promote. Declan Wong also performed multiple magic tricks on the spot, and his sister-in-law, Janet Ma Sze Wai and niece Irisa Wong Lai Ka also came to support him. Fung Tak Lun said that he has known Declan for more than 30 years. "I knew him before I entered the profession in my teens, because when I was in school the art teacher asked him to come to school to perform. Since then I have liked magic, he is also my magic teacher but I haven't finished my lessons, not even 10%. I can only use it as entertainment."

Declan praised Fung Tak Lun as a good student and had a talent for magic, while he admitted that he was still surprised that the he has not performed on screen for the Hong Kong audience for a long time, Declan said that he was still interested in making movies and has participated in television series in New Zealand. As for his sister-in-law Ma Sze Wai niece Wong Lai Ka, Declan said that Ma Sze Wai was the first to watch his magic performance. His niece Wong Lai Ka also has watched him since she was a child. He said that he now lives in New Zealand, has performed magic and even taught people to fish there. He also said that he knew this classic line of "I want to check the cards" have gone viral in the mainland. Would he participate in Hong Kong films again? He said that he could at anytime.

When asked whether Fung Tak Lun would make another gambling film, although he was interested he understood that the market is now sluggish. He looked forward to finding a boss who would be willing to invest in the film. Now he would consider the launch of the God of Gamblers comic version. If the reaction would be good then he would have a live-action version of the performance. When asked whether he would invite his wife Shu Qi to perform, Fung Tak Lun said that he would worry about that when the time would come, talking about that now was too far away.
