Nominated for the Golden Horse Best New Performer Award, she joked that she was the most experienced new actor. Although the director had confidence in her, she did not have any confidence in winning. Because she had to rush back to work in Taiwan, Tiffany Hsu could only stay one night. Cecilia Yip Tung, Queenie Chu Wai Man, Anthony Chan Yau, Stephen Au Kam Tong and Susan Shaw Yam Yam yesterday attended a "Film Descendant Talk". Two time Hong Kong Film Award winning Best Actress Yip Tung has already been in the business for over 30 years. She admitted that she thought about if she would be able to teach, but she worried that she lacked the patience and never went through any actual acting training. Over the years that she has been in the business, she received help from many people. Thus she attended this forum and shared her personal acting experience as a contribution to society.

Speaking of her daring performance in NOMAD (LIT FOR CHING CHUN), she said that as a new comer, she completely was all courage. She said, "At the time I felt that actors were only tools of the director, so whatever the director wanted I had to coordinate as much as I could. In addition bed scenes were very natural, so at the time I wasn't resistant against performing. I was just very scared. Because I was under age, I had to spend a long time to convince and hypnotize myself. I also asked some film elders for their opinions. The most important was my trust for the production team. I just closed my eyes and did it because as an actor I had to complete it." She said that at the time her family objected, but she knew that the director and the production team were great. In addition she had many elders like Tina Ti as her reference. Thus to her she was only playing a character. Would she still dare to perform in the buff now? She joked, "Are you hiring me to? We will worry about that then!"

Chu Wai Man guest starred in films and admitted that she hoped to participate in more films in the future. Would she accept any daring performance? She said, "I have had daring performance at TVB! Although the film standard could be very wide, I would not perform in the nude. When I was in my 20s I would feel intimate and passion scenes were parts of life, if I had to perform them I wouldn't mind. As I grew older I became less brave, now I don't even dare to ride any roller coaster."

Actor, director, singer and producer Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) has been in show business for 40 years and accumulated a lot of experience in the industry. She was an example of success. Yesterday the Hong Kong Chinese University invited her to speak at a forum titled "Failure is the Nutrient of Success" and share her secrets to success. CU president Joseph Sung (Shum Cho Hiu) personally welcomed her.

Cheung Ngai Ga spoke at the CU to an auditorium of several hundred students. She joked that originally she thought she would only speak to several dozen students in a classroom. Yet after she first got into show business and made movies, she suffered many failures. At the event she talked about her first film 40 years ago. She explained that it was when action film was in full bloom. In the film she was merely decoration. She said, "After making three movies I started to sense something was wrong. My manager also felt that I wasn't doing well. Then I gave up making movies in Hong Kong and returned to Taiwan to become a singer. However I also was unable to coordinate with the singing style that was popular then. I knew that I had a lot of flaws, knew that I had to start from zero. The criticisms I got at the time were setbacks in life, they made me consider whether I should be in show business."

Cheung Ngai Ga said that in the past many young people have asked her about show business. She said, "Since everyone knows about the successful me, what about the failure me? Everyone thinks that success is something that is deserved." As for success, she felt that when everything was done to its best then it was a success. Young people made success very complicated. She said, "I enjoy the process the most. Whether successful or not it is beautiful."

The film DOT 2 DOT (DIM DUI DIM) two nights ago held an audience appreciation event. Moses Chan Ho, David Siu Chung Hung and Susan Shaw Yam Yam attended. Moses has not made a film in years. The focus would not be on the box office, as word of mouth and audience reaction were the most important. The film KUNG FU JUNGLE (YUT GOR YUN DIK MO LUM) two days ago officially opened in Hong Kong and made HK$870,035. Yesterday eight new films opened, aside from KUNG FU JUNGLE was "Harry Potter" Daniel Radcliffe's HORNS, the Moses Chan Ho starred DOT 2 DOT (DIM DUI DIM) and the Ronald Cheng Chung Kei starred THE SEVENTH LIE (DAI CHUT FONG YIN). In the end KUNG FU JUNGLE crushed the strong competition and to open on top. Its admission rate reached 15,440 viewers.

The actors attended the premiere in Beijing and applauded the good box office news. Charlie Yeung Choi Nei said, "I am very happy, I am confident that people who like wuxia and action films would have fun watching it!" Wang Baoqiang who has many fierce fight scenes in the film said that the film only opened in the Mainland yesterday and he hoped that the good Hong Kong performance would appear in the Mainland too. He said, "Although I was so busy that I wasn't able to meet everyone in Hong Kong, the news from Hong Kong is truly great! I also wish for success at both the Hong Kong and the Mainland box office!"

Donnie Yen Chi Tan said, "The most important is the audience likes it!" At the Beijing premiere he said that Wang Baoqiang was an action actor with a lot of potential. Gregory Wong Chung Hiu and Justin Cheung Kin Sing starred new film IMPRISONED -- SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR RICH AND PRODIGAL (YUT YUK YUT SAI GAI -- GO DUNG FOOT SIU MAU GAM YUT GEI) yesterday shot on location on the streets of Sai Wan. Wong completely naked Wong Chung Hiu shot a streaking scene on the street. In the story a group of thugs including the almost 200 pound Cheung Kin Sing chased him. Wong Chung Hiu grabbed a pair of shorts, covered himself and ran. In the film he ran into a girl who was out for a jog. When she saw the naked Wong Chung Hiu she was very surprised and took out her phone to take a photo. Wong Chung Hiu bared his backside. For close up shots he wore nude tights to keep from further embarrassment. Grannies at a nearby nursing house came to the window to watch the shoot.

Wong Chung Hiu said, "This time I really let go, I once thought about if I should wear underwear today or not. In the end I only put it on halfway through the shoot." He pointed out that he did not need to tell his family about his nude scene. As for wardrobe malfunction prevention, Wong Chung Hiu said, "The team has arranged for a pair of nude stocking for me, it's like wearing a condom. It feels very strange, but most importantly it prevents wardrobe malfunction." He said that he would have many sex scenes with co-star Jessy Li Zhiyan but fewer nude scenes. Thus IMPRISONED for now expected to receive a category IIB rating. He also said, "For the prison shower scene, I have to be prepared to be completely naked. Gaining 50 pounds for this character, Cheung Kin Sing said that his weight now has reached 194 pounds. He hoped to gain another 5 pounds. He said, "I hope to spend three months to drop to 140 pounds after the shoot, to get myself into (Nick) Cheung Ka Fai shape and get back my six pack abdominal muscles." He also said that this time he asked a nutritionist to help him with his diet.

Cheung Kin Sing said, "My diet included cola, fast food, burgers, fries, when I slept I didn't move at all to keep from burning up calories." He also said that his next film will be DUE WEST 2 OUR SEX VACATION (YUT LO HEUNG SAI 2), which will start production in the middle of next year. He believed he will have ample time to lose weight.

Anthony Wong Chau Sun and director Lee Po Cheung's film GANGSTER PAY DAY (DAI CHA FAN) will open in the Mainland on Friday the 7th. Because Wong Chau Sun earlier publicly supported Hong Kong students and people of "Occupy Central", a group of Mainland internet users started a boycott against GANGSTER PAY DAY and Wong Chau Sun like they did against Taiwan director Giddens Ko and Hong Kong director Chapman To Man Chak.

Wong Chau Sun responded yesterday, "From the start film has always had some viewers and some non viewers! I never criticized them, they insisted that I did and treated my reply to a letter like I was talking to them! I have talked about it before, I have explained before. They don't want to find out the truth themselves, but they would listen to what other people say. What else I can say? I am not afraid of a boycott, I am only afraid that I am not McDonald's."

Since the Occupy Central movement erupted, due to the Mainland official strict restriction of positive Occupy Central reports some Mainland internet users saw Occupy Central as the enemy.

Wong Chau Sun stressed that GANGSTER PAY DAY has already passed Mainland inspection and has not been banned. "The release means there is no ban! No Ban means I am not a pro Hong Kong Independence traitor! Since I am not a traitor, why are they boycotting?"

However, Mainland internet users were not one sided. Writer Fenghuang wrote, "After over a decade without going to the movies I have decided to watch Wong Chau Sun's movie!" Director Lee Po Cheung was not worried about the box office. "I have gone online and saw some opposition against the film, but some also supported the film and said it was two different matter. It wasn't one sides against Chau Sun, so I wasn't too worried."

Playing an over the hill mobster, Chau Sun in the film was stuck between two women. He said, "I have always played a tough guy. This time in the film I have a lot of romance, I considered it a big breakthrough in my career. To viewers it should feel very fresh."
