Wu Chun, Han Geng, Barbie Hsu (Tsui Hei Woon) starred MY KINGDOM had a fight scene between Wu Chun and Han Geng. Under Big Brother Sammo Hung Kam Bo's instructions they fought like they were "counterfeit Donnie Yen Chi Tan".

Hung Kam Bo gave hands on instructions to Han Geng and Wu Chun and even personally demonstrated the fight moves. He also demonstrated all the expressions that went along with the action, like training Yen Chi Tan he instructed the martial art new comers. Reportedly the fight scene took over 50 hours to shoot. Because this scene was rather dangerous, Big Brother and the stunt team repeatedly rehearsed a dozen or so times before permitting Wu Chun to personally perform.

After Big Brother's hellish training and Sammo Hung stuntman association's 24 hour personal training, Wu Chun and Han Geng before the action scene already sparred and rehearsed to memorize their moves. In the film Han Geng with a dagger in hand had to remember the moves and steps as well as avoiding injuring himself and Wu Chun. Wu Chun had to put on wires. When Han Geng kicked him down the stairs they needed coordination to be able to complete. Wu Chun and Han Geng were on the wires for two days, shoulders and arms due to long time fighting were covered in bruises and scars. Yet their professionalism touched Big Brother a lot.

Hong Kong film industry classic mother son team Deanie Ip Tak Han and Andy Lau Tak recently reunite for Ann Hui On Wa's latest film TOH JEH (SISTER PEACH). Based on a real story, the film is about a big family's young master Roger, the maid who raised him Sister Peach and their master servant relationship that tugs at the heart strings.

To bring the characters to life, Wa Jai and Sister Deanie under the director's arrangement earlier visited some seniors who worked as live in maid in senior centers to get an understanding of their work condition and experience. Wa Jai also met with the real Roger to talk about Sister

Peach's past so he could grasp the character easier. Sister Deanie honestly said that working with Wa Jai not only was fun for her acting bug, but she also hoped that through the master servant relationship in the film to remind everyone to care and love every elder around them. Sister Deanie not only had a deep understanding of Sister Peach's character but also paid attention to the look. She observed how seniors walked and looked, she even went more than two months without coloring her hair for the naturally aged look. She even prepared a prop cane on the set for the character.

The film has already officially begun production during the Lunar New Year. Investor Polybona boss Yu Dong even came to visit the set in Hong Kong. One day Wa Jai and Sister Deanie shot a gentle walk scene. With her back to the camera Sister Deanie limped along, which Wa Jai thought was very convincing. "This mother of mine truly is great!" Sister Deanie accepted Wa Jai's praise fully and said, "Earlier I shot a market scene, no one recognized me. I looked left and right at a vegetable stall. That vendor asked me, Granny what kind of vegetable would you like? It was a lot of fun."

Early in the shoot, the neighbors thought they were just an ordinary mother and son out for a walk. Fans recognized Wa Jai then the location was filled with neighbors. Luckily they were very cooperative and did not hinder the shoot. A neighbor ran into idol Wa Jai and excitedly joked, "I ran into Wa Jai downstairs, how can this year not be lucky?"

The Derek Yee Sing Tung produced, Alan Mak Siu Fai and Felix Chong Man Keung directed police film OVERHEARD 2 (SIT TING FUNG WON 2) finally unveiled its first stills. Playing a down and out cop in the previous film, Lau Ching Wan in this film became a suit and tie, upper

class multimillionaire gentleman. The difference was quite a surprise. Yee Tung Sing even said that this film will completely escalate. Ching Wan's character change was just the tip of the iceberg as even more pleasant surprise was on the way.

In the past Ching Wan looked like a slob in most films, but this time he turned into a financial genius with sea view mansions and worth hundreds of millions. Not only did he appear in a suit, but he was an elite among the upper class and the focus of attention in the social scene. Ching Wan joked about the character change. "This time not only the boss has money, even we (in the film) have money. However this was only in comparison to the first film. Although he was worth hundred of millions, but if compared to Mark Zuckerberg from THE SOCIAL NETWORK he still had quite a way to go!" Although this film's characters did not have to worry about money, they still have endless troubles and rumors. To honor local film industry professionals, the 17th Hong Kong Film Critic Society Award was presented yesterday at the Hong Kong Film Archive. Best Actor Teddy Robin Kwan and Best Actress Miriam Yeung Chin Wa both accepted their awards in person. Chin Wa dressed up to accept her first film honor. When she accepted the award from Johnnie To Kei Fung she was so touched that she was teary eyed.

Earlier the event has already announced the winners. Yesterday many winners including Ivy Ho (On Sai), Su Chao-Pin, Lam Ka Tung, Teddy Robin, Yeung Chin Wa attended. The event also asked To Kei Fung to be the special guest presenter. First time Best Actress Yeung Chin Wa dressed up for the occasion and became the media focus. When she accepted the Best Actress award she was tearfully touched. Chin Wa said, "I don't have any reason to be so scared, so excited! Beyond scared! Huayi Brothers last year with movies like HOT SUMMER DAYS (CHUEN SING YIT LUEN), SHANGHAI, AFTER SHOCK, STOOL PIGEON (SIN YUN), DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME (DIK YUN KIT ji TUNG TIN DAI GOK), and IF YOU ARE THE ONE 2 made over 1.6 billion at the box office. Recently Huayi Brothers announced its first major production this year, the Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit) and Chen Kuo-Fu produced TAI CHI (tentative title).

Lee Nin Kit who has worked with Huayi on FORBIDDEN KINGDOM not only plays an important legendary martial art figure in the film but also puts his years of experience in martial arts and Tai Chi into his job as a producer. Lee Nin Kit said, "Actually I have already thought about this for 20 years. I have always been concerned about a phenomenon, as people get busier and busier they overlook their health and happiness. Now the world has over 200 million people who are studying Tai Chi. The figure is staggering. It is not only a school of martial art but also an uniquely Chinese view of life."

Currently the film's script has basically been completed. As for the earlier rumored director Feng Xiaogang, Huayi Brothers made a clarification for the first time. Huayi chief Wong Zhonglei said that Feng Xiaogang this year will make a big production, the preparation and the production of which will take a long time and require a major investment of people and material. The project title and other details will be announced later. TAI CHI will have another director. Lee Nin Kit and Chen Kuo-Fu as producers have become powerful support for him. The Chan Kwok Fai and Wing Shya (Ha Wing Hong) directed new film LOVE IN SPACE (CHUET KAU YIT LUEN) yesterday held a production start ceremony at Harbor City. Attendees included Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Eason Chan Yik Shun, Angelababy and Kwai Lun-Mei. Sing Sing and Rene Liu (Lau Yeuk Ying) have relationship scenes in the film. Although Milk Tea was not present yesterday, Sing Sing had nothing but praise for her. Later he also praised rumored girlfriend Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam) as sexy and sentimental.

At yesterday's production start ceremony, actors not only presented incense as usual but the cameras also wore red. Lately Australia had earthquakes, he believed that the shoot will not take place until a few months later so he was not worried. He also would like Alex Man Chi Leung to play his father in the film. He said, "Brother Man Chi is truly great, I never have a chance to meet him but I feel we look pretty similar. Both our eyes are popping and swollen. (Is your biggest resemblance spitting?) Then I have to wear a mask from now." Would he like his daughter to succeed him? He honestly said he did not care, her preference would be the most important. First she had to finish school and live a life that a normal child should have.
