47 year old Maggie Cheung Man Yuk announced an end to her five year long relationship with her German architect boyfriend Ole Scheeren who was 7 years her junior.  Yesterday Maggie attended a Beijing event and personally confirmed the break up.  Maggie said that she was in a decent mood, that she is single and broke up with Ole because they were apart more than they were together.  However they remained friends.  Maggie admitted that she needed a break from romance as she would like to do what she wants to do first.

Maggie is currently studying film editing, music and participating in a variety of events.  She also denied that she was retired from acting.  "Making a movie depends on fate, as long as I run into a good character I would be focused in my performance.  Actually I have been offered scripts all along, but they are all tragic characters.  Maybe the impression that people have of me is crying movies, so I want to make a comedy even more!"

Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) and Stephen Fung Tak Lun earlier was involved into rich businessman Lau Ting Sing's nude photo case; Ng Yin Cho two nights ago attended a Beijing event and stated that he did not know Lau Ting Sing and has never posed for photos for him.

Ng Yin Cho said, "I joked about it with Fung Tak Lun, but he never took photos of us.  I don't know him!  (He hinted that you took part?)  Very obviously he wanted to find a headline for himself.  His case has already been sentenced, and everyone knows the verdict.  I feel it's very funny, no one has invited me to pose."  He also said that he and his wife Lisa S. do not like to pose for photos, no one should image what kind of intimate photo that they would have.  Was he interested in turning the scandal into a movie?  He said, "It's not commercial enough, I think no one would see it."  When asked about his parenthood plans, he said that earlier because he worked overseas he did not go home for ten months.  Later he will stay in Hong Kong for a movie and will be able to work on that.  "This year's goal is successfully making a baby, maybe a Snake kid would work."

Also attending were film stars Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King), Shu Qi, Kwai Lun-Mei and others.  Yeung Chi King revealed that recently she has been busy with a movie about cooking in Thailand and joked that she was lucky.  The shoot was very casual but she got fatter.  She was worried that she would not be able to wear this dress.  Did she cook normally?  She said, "Rarely, because I am always flying around.  However I am very lucky.  When I return to Hong Kong I get to eat at home."  When asked whether she has heard about her co-star Zhang Ziyi's rumors, she said no.

Shu Qi wore an evening gown that was a little loose over the chest.  Reporters asked if it was dangerous.  She mischievously said, "Danger?! I can't bend over.  Although I have nothing that would fall out it would separate."  Reportedly Mainland entertainment leader Huayi Brothers was interested in adding her to its ranks.  She said, "Rumors don't need to be confirmed.  (Reportedly Media Asia boss Peter Lam Kin Nogk immediately talked to you about contract extension?)  Has my contract come to term?  (Now two bosses are fighting over you?)  Then I am pretty valuable, I am pretty alienated from all the bosses, but they are all great people and good bosses."

Shu Qi said that she was on vacation.  "I am resting so much that I don't want to rest anymore, hopefully next year (it will end).  Yet in between if some scripts are fun I would take them."  Was she dating?  She humorously said, "Dating dating dating, soon!"

Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting) and Angelababy last year after finishing their new film FIRST TIME two nights ago again at the film's Beijing premiere.  Chiu Yau Ting and Angelababy were described as Cowherd and the Weaving Girl.  They have not seen each other in half a year since they finished the film in Xiamen, even during the recent promotion they have not seen run into each other at all.

Did they feel like strangers running into each other again?  Chiu Yau Ting said, "Not at all, in my heart we are already like an old couple!"  Baby admitted that although she and Chiu Yau Ting did not see each other for half a year and they were busy, in between they would talk over the phone.  She said, "Ultimately he is my first love in the film!  He is very hard to forget."  Finally, Baby, Chiu Yau Ting, Jiang Shan, Cindy Yen (Yuen Wing Lam), Chao Shu-Hai and others suddenly sang YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE at the premiere in support and appreciation of the director's effort.  Director Han Yan was moved to tears.

Before the premiere, many wore white and walked the red carpet.  Directors Peter Chan Ho Sun, Gu Changwei, Zhang Yibai, Teng Huatao, Arthur Wong Ngok Tai attended in support of the Post 80 director Han Yan in hopes of motivating the film industry to support new comers and cultivate even more excellent directors.  After the premiere almost half the viewers said that this film moved them to tears.  Many said that Angelababy in the film was "beyond beautiful".  Hers and Chiu Yau Ting' performance were pleasantly surprises.

Action comedy THE BOUNTY (YUEN HUNG) will open on June 21.  This film's director Fung Chi Chiang wrote many film scripts including SHAOLIN SOCCER, HOOKED ON YOU (MUI DONG BIN WAN SI), 2 BECOME 1 (TIN SUN YUT DUI), SPARROW (MAN JEUK), CJ 7 (CHEUNG GONG CHUT HO) and others.  This time he asked many friends who he has worked with before to guest star like Eric Kot Man Fai, Raymond Wong Ho Yin and Stephanie Cheng Yung.

Lead actor Chapman To Man Jat played a retired cop who makes a living as a bounty hunter.  In order to capture the culprit before the police, he often had to fight alone.  Thus the film had many fight scenes.  In one scene Ah Jat was bringing a fugitive with a 400,000 bounty to the police station.  On the way he witnessed another smuggling case taking place and the smuggler was about to kill the witness and fought with To.  Luckily detective Kot Man Fai led a group of police officers to stop the murder in time.

Ah Kot rarely exercised before.  Only in recent years did he begin to pay attention to his health.  Recently he even fell in love with bicycle riding.  On the day of the shoot, Ah Kot had to chase the crook.  Although he was in full police gear, he was still very agile.  He jumped right off a tall rock with one leap while keeping his funny side.  Yet because the extras were too careful, they looked stiff and needed many more takes.  Ah Kot performed several times without getting dizzy.  He joked, "You don't know you are health without jumping."

Susan Shaw Yam Yam was a guest on Clifton Ko Chi Sum's ATV program.  Actually before she got into the business she was a nurse in Taiwan.  Later she came to Hong Kong and sang at night clubs, caught Bruce Lee's eyes and led to her audition.  Bruce Lee once said to her, "As long as I am here you are here.  You are very talented, I will definitely take care of you."  Unfortunately soon after Bruce Lee passed away.  For awhile no one paid any attention to her.

Shaw Yam Yam said that she caught the attention of many in her life, like Ng See Yuen and Lee Han-Hsiang.  Director Lee Han-Hsiang has the greatest influence on and inspiration for her.  In the 70s Shaw Yam Yam made many movies, but many were erotic films.  Thus she was called "sexy goddess".  She said, "At the time many producers said to me the film company and the audience wanted (her to make erotic films).  At the time when I read the script most had stories, but halfway through the directors would always arrange for some bathing or bed scene for me."  Thus some called her a "stripping star", a title she was very resistant to.  She felt the title was very insulting.  She was angry at others and at herself, until recently when she won an award then she finally felt she was avenged and let go.

The Jerry Yan (Yin Sing Yuk), Joseph Cheng Yuen Cheung, Ivy Chen, Michelle Chen starred FA YEUNG (RIPPLE) caught attention at the Cannes Film Festival.  Michelle Chen and Joseph Cheng were popular there and the film teaser had rave reviews.  The team will follow up with the Shanghai International Film Festival.  This time Yin Sing Yuk will promote.

Yin Sing Yuk wrote online, "616 see you at the Shanghai Film Festival."  This was his return to Shanghai since he completed MY SPLENDID LIFE.  Yuk fans from around the world have already planned to support him in Shanghai.  This time Yin Sing Yuk's performance in FA YEUNG was also his transition work.  His pirate look had added maturity and sorrow.  In the film he also had many scenes and a lot of troubles with the Simon Yam Tat Wa played pirate.  In one scene Yam Tat Wa held the top half of his body in the water.  For this film, Yin Sing Yuk added a lot of scars; but when he saw how agile he was in the teaser he thought it was worth everything.

Yin Sing Yuk thanked Yuk fans for their support.  "In the vast sea of people, everyone who originally didn't know each other all became my family and even spent such a long day together.  How wonderful is fate!  I wish everyone is happy!"  He also said that he would see them at the Shanghai Film Festival opening ceremony on the 16th.
