Ariel Lin and Alec Su make convincing cops courtesy of mingpao.com |
After working for years in the Mainland, Alec Su (So Yau Peng) recently worked with Ariel Lin (Lam Yi Sun) on the new Taiwan film SWEET ALIBIS (TIM MUK SAT GEI). The production team shot on location in Kaohsiung. In the film So Yau Peng and Lam Yi Sun played cops for the first time. With many action scenes, they accepted special Taiwan police training that included basic gun holding and firing and arrest techniques. They felt quite refreshed as they even attentively observed how the local police spoke during their investigations, which made their training coach praise them and joked that if they were not actors they could try the police force. So Yau Peng has not returned to work in Taiwan for a long time so he was particularly excited. He visited Kaohsiung landmarks and tried local snacks on his free time. Easygoing, he often went to swim in the indoor swimming pool and greeted fellow swimmers. He said, "This time since I am working in Taiwan, family and friends finally don't have to buy plane tickets to visit me on the set. They can directly come to Kaohsiung."
