The Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Chung Suet Ying, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai starred film GOOD TRIP (NGOR AH DEH SEUNG LUI HUNG) has had ideal word of mouth since its release. Its cumulative box office in Hong Kong and Macao has exceeded HK$ 12 million, and a "sitting on thousand looking at hundred thousand" celebration banquet was held the night before. Director Wong Hoi revealed that Cheung Ka Fai intended to shoot a sequel. MIRROR member Stanley Yau Sze Chun recently married his girlfriend of 9 years Alina Lee Yan Yee at their wedding in Bali and officially became a husband. Just returned to Hong Kong after the happy event, Stanley appeared at the celebration dinner the night before, his first public event since wedding.
The night before, Cheung Ka Fai, Chung Suet Ying, Yoyo, Philip Ng Wan Lung, Stanley and two directors Norris Wong Yi Lam and Wong Hoi attended the celebration. Making a movie again after many years and achieved good results, Yoyo admitted that she was very happy and revealed that her husband Ekin Cheng has not had time to watch the movie. The couple was caught on the streets of Japan earlier, and was said to be similar in the way they dressed and acted. She said, "Like an old couple on the street, we aren't deliberately showing off our love" Some online criticized her being without make up and losing her figure, Mung Ka Wai neither minded nor avoided. She hoped next time she would be in even better shape to see everyone. For the sequel she could consider performing a musical with her husband. She also revealed that her husband had opinions about what she wore. Before she left he asked her to "put on more clothes". She joked, "I told me adding a jacket would be a little better, I wanted to ask him what he meant." At her earlier interview she was suspected of accidentally "cursing", she joked that she has decided to talk less. Next to her, Cheung Ka Fai humorously told her to curse more in order to create a topic.
Earlier Cheung Ka Fai has said that if he had 100,000 Likes on the Internet, he would perform a concert; but that night he suddenly changed his mind, joked that he would not perform a concert but wanted to open a cafe even more. He also asked how much money would open a restaurant take, would 200,000 to 300,000 be enough? He then changed his mind again, saying he wanted to use the money to shoot the sequel. Yoyo jokingly asked, "US$ 200,000?" Cheung Ka Fai answered that it would be 200,000 yen. Whether they would make the sequel, the two directors were invited by Cheung Ka Fai to be interviewed together. They revealed that Cheung Ka Fai was interested in shooting NGOR AH DEH SEUNG SAT YUN (MY DAD WANTS TO KILL) and made a musical film. When asked if he would sing and celebrate when the box office number would reach 20 million, he stated that he often practiced at home, hoped to sing the film's end credit song with Chung Suet Ying. He also revealed that he has often sung the theme song of his movie PEG O' MY HEART (SHOOK MUNG) recently. Yet he spoke too fast and made the title sounded like "cooked noodles" (SHOOK MEIN), which cracked up the whole scene.
Stanley appeared the night before and received congratulations. When he took the photo, he graciously showed the wedding ring on his hand. Speaking of the wedding, he said that the process was quite smooth but the weather did not cooperate for a short time with rain during the dinner. He recalled that when his wife took her father's arm and walked into the venue, he was so moved that he wanted to cry. The family table also deliberately kept two seats open for his late parents, symbolizing that they witnessed his big event in life together. He also publicly thanked his wife for arranging the wedding, "This wedding cost seven digits, brought a lot of happy memories. Special thanks to Alina for arranging the entire wedding. I was too busy with my work and did not participate too much, but I knew she was under a lot of pressure." As for when he would make up the honeymoon, Stanley said that he would not have time until next year but would leave the location to his wife.
Referring to the fact that five members of the MIRROR, captain Lokman Yeung, vice captain Anson Kong Ip Sang, Ian Chan Cheuk Yin, Alton Wong Chi Tak and Frankie Chan Shui Fai, were unable to fly to Bali for the wedding due to work, Stanley said that he understood that everyone would have to work. Although they could not attend in person, they have already given gifts. He also explained that because he did not want to take up too many social resources, he asked for the wedding arrangement to be kept as low as possible. Regarding Jeremy Lee Chun Kit being moved to tears at the wedding, Stanley smiled and said, "On the surface we often quarrel, but privately our relationships are actually very good. I didn't expect Jeremy to be so emotional. Actually, on the day of the registration signing, many MIRROR brothers saw the footage of our growth and cried even harder. Fatboy (Leung Yip) even danced, I almost had to pay him a performance of fee." Former ViuTV executive Lo Ting Fai, current executive Kam Kwong Sing and manager Wong Wai Kwan all attended the wedding. Yau Sze Chun said that although Mr. Lo has transferred to another company, he still was one of the elders he valued the most.
The cumulative box office of the film has exceeded 12 million, Stanley said that he knew that the film has received a lot of praise. He also understood that the film market is difficult at present, and achieving this result was already not easy. Although the box office growth rate was slow, he still hoped that the results in the future would get better and better. As for Cheung Ka Fai's proposal to make a musical film for the next film, Stanley laughed and said that he could tailor a song for Cheung Ka Fai.
Ng Wan Lung played the role of a zombie in the film. He said that he and director Wong Yi Lam met and became friends at the Berlin Film Festival, so he was invited to perform this role. As for the cumulative box office of the film in Hong Kong and Macao exceeded HK$12 million, Ng Wan Lung said that he was very happy and believed that good movies can naturally attract audience support. Participated in the Cheung Ka Fai directed film THE TROUGH (DAI AT CHO), Ng Wan Lun praised that he fully felt the funny power of Ka Fai while working with him. "Earlier while making THE TROUGH I have fought with him. This time we fight for laughs more." Ng Wan Lung said that he has always liked to shoot comedy, and in private he also liked to tell bad jokes to cheer up his friends. Sometimes they would be so rotten that no one would laugh. He recalled that his friend Andy Tien (On Chi Kit) once said during his downturn, "If you are willing to show a private humorous and funny side, it may increase the chance of performance." Speaking of the recent work, he revealed that several films have been filmed. His company has also had new plans in negotiations, which will be officially announced later.
