New film SLEEPWALKER 3D (MUNG YAU 3D) would be released today.  Two nights ago a premiere was held.  Leads Angelica Lee Sinjie and Charlie Yeung Choi Nei appeared.  Charlie even wore the Sinjie designed cacac dress and easily became the focus.

Two nights ago the premiere not only had the director Oxide Pang Shun and the two lead actresses, Universe boss Daneil Lam Siu Ming also appeared.  Guests conducted the launch ceremony with a girl with a pillow and pajamas.  Jason Chan Pak Yu's new girlfriend Leanne Fu Hiu Mei and other models attended too.  Charlie wore Sinjie's label cacac dress.  Sinjie revealed that she was responsible for the design and the label has existed for over a year.  Charlie said, "I like it very much!  I will keep wearing her clothes!"  Sinjie revealed that Charlie was her first client and would also sponsor her.  She was her label's super VIP.  Sinjie said, "I gave Charlie a discount, I sold her some and gave her some."  Sinjie said that the lable was in Malaysia and had presence in Mainland department stores.  Charlie complimented Sinjie.  "From store rental up Sinjie started from zero and personally ran with it.  So I plan to enthusiastically support her."  Would Sinjie consider running the business full time?  She said, "No!  I only chip in with good friends.  I am responsible for designs."  Earlier Gigi Leung Wing Kei and her husband Sergio dressed up and went to Lan Kwai Fong, did Sinjie and Charlie celebrate Halloween with Gigi?  Sinijie said, "On the 30th we had a party at a friend's home.  I wore Smurf ears and Hubby put on an Elvis mask and looked like Shek Sau.  Sergio had a lot of fun too!"

Chan Pak Yu publicized his romance with pseudo model Fu Hiu Mei.  Jason's new girlfriend yesterday also attended the premiere.  As for publicizing the relationship, she said that they did not want to hide.  Fu Hiu Mei said, "At first I was afraid that it would affect his career, when reporters called me I denied it!  Now we can go out in the open!"  Speaking of publicizing the romance elevating her popularity, she said, "Maybe it did!  (Would you hold hands outside before?)  Yes!  Now we would watch ourselves a little.  I hope to be able to get married.  I was serious in every relationship and hoped to walk to the end!"  She also revealed that many otaku fans learned about her relationship on the 22nd and made it their unhappiest day.

The film LEGENDARY AMAZONS (YEUNG MOON NUI JEUNG) would be released on the 17th.  As Mu Guiying Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi in the film had many fight scenes.  She insisted against using a double and
performed the stunts, rode the horse and wielded her weapon personally.  Pak Chi joked that director Frankie Chan Fun Kei has been lying to her and said that each scene would have at most 3 stunts.  Finally the 3
stunts had 8 stunts in them so the shoot was especially tough.  However, she also thanked the director for arranging fight scenes to help her rapidly lose weight after birth.  Kathy Chow Hoi Mei in the film played
Yang Wuniang.  Hoi Mei said that one of her first television series was YANG'S SAGA.  At the time she played Yang Jiumei.  She said that Wuniang was an faithful Buddhist and was more introverted.  The difficulty lay with her eye and facial expression.

The Tsui Hark directed, Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit), Zhou Xun, Chen Kun, Kwai Lun-Mei, Chris Lee Yuchun, Mavis Fan Hiu Huen starred 3D wuxia film FLYING SWORDS OF DRAGON GATE (LUNG MOON FEI GAP) will be released this Christmas.  For the first wuxia film Zhou Xun and Chen Kun suffered during the shoot.  Even the king of kung fu Lee Nin Kit succumbed to the 3D wuxia film special effects and complained that it was the most memorable martial art action experience in his career.

Lee Nin Kit said, "With previous film productions, people who have acted for years like us only had to stab in the general direction of the camera once and it's OK.  For 3D productions, the target is a small circle.  As long as it's a little off, the effect has no way to appear.  In the past the scene would only take one stab, now it has to take a dozen or so times because the difficulty has increased."

Zhou Xun also suffered.  Not only did she have to handle highly difficult stunts but also suffered from the weather; from the coldest October she froze until January.  Over the four months she could only wear flimsy costumes.  On the screen she was a mighty heroine, off the screen she was an ailing beauty who was the only one who knew her pain.  Chen Kun in the film had many fights, one of which required him to dive from 30 feet above.  At the same time for camera accuracy, Chen Kun dove over 30 times for one shot.

Vivien Leung Siu Bing and Ronan Pak Kin Yan two nights ago attended the STARRY STARRY NIGHT (SING HUNG) premiere in Tsim Sha Tsui.  The film's 14 year old actor Lin Hui-min also attended.  Lin Hui-min said that he had no pressure from making this film.  Everyone took care of him, especially the director who could be his father.  He said that he did not have many scenes with Harlem Yu Ching Hing, but he was very nice.  How was his co-star Xu Jiao?  He said, "She was very smart, what I didn't understand she would explain to me."  He admitted that with the right script he will act again, but later he will have to prepare for examinations first.

  Suk Ling, a substitute teacher in a suburban secondary school, is assigned to teach Form 4 class E.  Her students are mischievous, only Dong Dong is nicer as she quietly sits in a corner.   Youth is a rain storm.  Even after catching the flu, you still look back and want to be in it again.

[2011.11.02] GIDDENS KO SLAPS HIMSELF IN APOLOGY

The Taiwan director Giddens Ko directed YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE as of October 30 after 12 days in release in Hong Kong accumulated HK$29,877,253.  Two nights ago he went to the cinema to show his appreciation.  Suddenly he was "romantic saint incarnate" as he taught viewers about romance.

Giddens Ko put on lead actor Ko Chen-Tung's school uniform costume in the film and met with 300 viewers.  A female viewer excitedly complimented him as handsome.  Giddens Ko said, "BS!"  Giddens Ko thanked everyone for their support.  He blamed myself for never thinking that the box office performance would be so good.  Earlier he and Michelle Chen estimated that the Hong Kong box office would only be around 5 million.  He said, "I underestimated Hong Kong's passion, I deserve to be slapped!"

Giddens Ko said that he did not value the box office amount.  Instead the audience's deep applause from the beginning to the end touched him very much.  He said, "I feel I am an immature, dumb, slow and retarded guy.  I make this movie for all the girls and spend my life to make everyone laugh."  Giddens Ko even said in the tone of a romantic saint, "I hope that girls look at the guys who they like, no matter how dumb, slow, lacking of courage to apologize he is, please give him a little time.  Cherish the guys or girls around you, which is the greatest meaning of this movie."

Giddens Ko said that although YOU was a big hit, he estimated that his next film will be made 3 years after he wrote the story.  He liked Hong Kong films very much, especially Director Johnnie To Kei Fung's.  Would he like to work with him?  Giddens Ko promoted himself, "If To Kei Fung is willing to use me, whatever he wants I would make."
