This year would have been the 70th birthday of Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum would once again hold the MISS YOU MUCH LESLIE 70TH BIRTHDAY EXHIBITION from September 9th this year to May 10th, 2027. The exhibition would feature more than 300 precious items under the theme of "Butterfly", including 11 sets of classic costumes worn by Gor Gor at concerts such as the cloak from the 1989 farewell concert, the golden coat from the 97 concert, and the mesh vest from the 2000 "Passion Concert". For the first time the exhibition also brought parts of Gor Gor's former residence back to life, and showed a group photo of many close friends at his former residence after his death; Daffy Tong Hok Tak also loaned Gor Gor's commonly used desks, chairs and desk lamps to give the audience an understanding of Gor Gor's daily life. Mrs. Chan said, "Many items are very special, like the reconstruction of Gor Gor's former residence it has never been seen before. I hope everyone would be able to understand Gor Gor and his life outside performing a little more completely. The office decoration, that desk, chair, desk pad and desk lamp were also often used by Gor Gor. I didn't dare to ask Tong Tong to borrow these items. Tong Tong after finding about the exhibition suggested, 'Why don't I loan them to you.'" She also said that Gor Gor has laid and sat on another white chair countless times. Later he gave it to her and she took the opportunity to put it on display. During the exhibition, six Cheung Kwok Wing film masterpieces would also be screened, including A BETTER TOMORRORW (YING HUNG BOON SIK), A CHINESE GHOST STORY (SIN NUI YAU WAN), ROUGE (YIN JI KAU), and HE IS A WOMAN SHE IS A MAN (GUM JI YUK YIP).

September 12th this year would have been the 70th birthday of Cheung Kwok Wing. Friend Chan Suk Fun said that the exhibit was very special, especially the restoration of his former home that fans would have never seen before. What moved Chan Suk Fun the most was that the fans engraved the commemorative words on the Stanley Park bench in Canada where Gor Gor used to sit. It have so far endured for 20 years. The exhibit also displayed a 1 to 1 ratio bench replica. Mrs. Chan said, "Gor Gor after bidding farewell to the stage took a short break in Vancouver. He loved to enjoy tea and the scenery at Stanley Park 'Gor fans' 2006 rented a bench there and engraved commemorative words. Now it has been 20 years. I feel this is very touching, so I put it on display. Everyone can sit on the bench and experience Gor Gor's past point of view." A pair of red heels was also in the exhibit. They were originally white and caught Gor Gor's eyes while performing in New York. He personally dyed them red and stuck on glitter, then gave them to Shi Nansun. "The red heels Gor Gor wore at concerts actually had two pairs. The pair on display was once gifted to the late veteran filmmaker Shi Nansun."

On September 12th, Chan Suk Fun's TO LESLIE WITH LOVE concert to commemorate his 70th birthday would take place AXA Bamboo Grove Park in West Kowloon. Performers would include Sam Hui Koon Kit, Karena Mok Man Wai, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) and his daughter Blythe Chung Yi, Dicky Cheung Wai Kin, William So Wing Hong, Eliza Chan Kit Ling, Adia Chan Chung Ling, Michael Tse Tin Wah, Patrick Tam Yiu Man and so on. Chan Suk Fun said, "Each singer friend feels strongly about Gor Gor. Every time they participate, they selflessly love Gor Gor and meet with love." The concert would also feature a drone show, performed by 1,956 drones for 9 minutes and 12 seconds and cost seven-digits to produce. A technology company would partially sponsor the show.
