Ng Tung earlier interviewed for a Malaysian program Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress Paw Hee Ching, who shared her over 30 year long experience at ATV and even said that she admired the most the energy of her co-workers when they worked on a series for 30 hours without sleep or rest. When asked why the Great Wall film company diva would suddenly play mother roles on television, she said that at the time she was already 30, at the time she was already very old.

When asked about the reason for ATV's decline, she felt that the company changed hands too frequently and left the subordinates without any sense of belonging. However she still looked forward to the new boss' return to dramatic productions. Sister Paw also said that she never worked with her Oscar award winning cinematographer brother Peter Pau (Bau Tak Fun), and she regretted the most that she never worked with her father Bau Fong. She also said that her acting and looks all came from her mother, but she did not pass the genes onto her daughter. Thus she never encouraged her daughter to develop in show business.

The famous screenwriter Ivy Ho (Ong Sai) directed CROSSING HENNESSY (YUET MOON HIN NEI SI) has been selected to open the 34th Annual Hong Kong International Film Festival. Ong Sai yesterday led the cast including Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Paw Hee Ching, Maggie Cheung Ho Yi and others to a press conference. Having just seen Tang Wei's claim to fame LUST, CAUTION, Hok Yau expressed that he and Tang Wei did not have any bed scene in the film. He stressed that he could never give a performance as daring as Tony Leung Chiu Wai's. He joked, "I have no shape and no guts!"

The 34th Annual Hong Kong International Film Festival will open on March 21. Yesterday the organizers held a special press conference to announce the details. The opening film CROSSING HENNESSY's actors Cheung Hok Yau, Cheung Ho Yi, Paw Hee Ching, director Ong Sai all attended. However lead actress Tang Wei did not. All four said that they felt happy that CROSSING was able to become the film festival's opening film. Ong Sai said that although Tang Wei could not attend, she worked very hard on her performance and her Cantonese was very fluent. She would like Tang Wei to attend the film's release on March 21.

Sister Paw and Hok Yau in the film played mother and son. She praised Hok Yau for his humor and pointed out that he looked very funny. Hok Yau said, "Is it very comical?" Sister Paw said, "I don't want to use that adjective." Hok Yau said that he has always been a Mama's boy so bringing the character in the film to life was not too difficult. He said, "I know what Sister Paw wants to say, it is dumb! Actually I am very smart!" Sister Paw on the stage said that CROSSING's Mainland release was good news for Tang Wei while she could open up the Mainland market. Tang Wei's ban was lifted as her new film would be released in the Mainland, which Hok Yau was happy about. "I have heard her talking about it. (Did you know already that the ban would be lifted?) I don't know whether she was banned." He praised Tang Wei as an actress who is willing to put in an effort and smart as well.

Due to the film's Mainland release, will Hok Yau promote in the Mainland. Hok Yau said, "That depends! However I will leave the Mainland to Tang Wei!" When he made the film did he know that it might be banned in the Mainland? Hok Yau believed the boss should have a grasp, when he made it he did not think too much. As for Sister Paw as his mother was pushing it, Hok Yau joked, "You see how young and lovely she is, it is quite a push to be able to give birth to me!" Hok Yau particularly expressed that in the film he and Cheung Ho Yi had romantic as well as bed scenes, but then he joked, "The bed scene is only on the headboard, we didn't do anything. I didn't with Tang Wei either."

Hok Yau revealed that earlier he saw LUST CAUTION on television. When asked whether Hok Yau would accept a performance like that, he said, "I have no guts or shape." Would his wife May Lo Mei Mei agree? "She wouldn't say that she disagrees, she keeps her disapproval inside. Wai Jai is a professional actor, I sing. I have to keep my image in mind and can't go too far!"

As for Connie Chan Bo Chu's adopted mother Kung Fun Hung's sudden passing, Hok Yau said, "I would ask a friend to console Sister Bo Chu for me. Ultimately it passed before the show opened, it was rather sudden!"

Because at the time they both were poor students abroad, they experienced a period when they depended on each other. Ah Tan asked Law Kai Yui, "In your eyes what kind of person is Cheung Yuen Ting?" She tolerated all of my flaws, when she saw my mistakes she would silently accept them."

How is Law Kai Yui in Cheung Yuen Ting's eyes? She said, "He is very smart, with a high IQ and a thirst for knowledge as well as quite a memory. When I run into any trouble I would ask him." In LITTLE BIG SOLDIER (DAI BING SIU JEUNG) Jackie Chan and Wang Leehom played high ranking and low ranking soldiers. When they mentioned memorable production experience they both agreed it was a wet scene.

Wang Leehom was wet from morning to night, he was so cold that he was crying for help. He was even tied up on a slope, a single misstep he would have slid down. During the shoot he used all of his energy to steady himself in order to keep himself from falling. After this scene he was exhausted. As for Jackie Chan he said that the wet and the cold were no problem. The worst part was all the climbing in the wet costumes. Jackie Chan said that his costume was as heavy as a cotton coat. After getting wet and along with the weight of the armor it was already several dozen pounds. He also had to drag Wang Leehom all over the hills, which had him in quite a tight spot. The film was shot in Yunnan. Jackie Chan protected the environment and during the shoot he kept reminding everyone to keep the area clean. After the wet scene the crew also cleaned up to avoid destroying the environment.

Gillian Chung Yun Tung in the film CHIN DOH (FORMER)'s intimate "bath scene" with William Chan Wai Ting has been revealed. Based on modern love story, CHIN DOH does not lack daring sex scenes. Ah Gil this time made the artistic sacrifice. In the photo she and William were in a tub full of bubbles, but Ah Gil's legs were around William's neck and her hands on his legs.

During the production, director Heiward Mak Hei Yan asked for realism. The actors gave their all to follow the director's directions. Ah Gil hoped that everyone would be able to experience what she gave to CHIN DOH and that aside from the Hong Kong Film Festival they would have a chance to step onto the international stage for international film scene exposure. Ah Gil has rested for a long time, which gave her the chance to stop and look at her performing art career. In the past she has worked on many films but most were commercial films. She was unfamiliar with the film world. After meeting Mak Hei Yan she was touched. She understood that commercial and art films are not extremes as long as she could find her balance. Ah Gil's goal was Maggie Cheung Man Yuk and would like the chance to become an international film festival Best Actress, as she worked hard for recognition.

CHIN DOH is "post 80" Mak Hei Yan directed. This ground breaking small budget romance has already been selected to be this year Hong Kong International Film Festival closing film. In the past two years the closing films have been the work of strong directors like Martin Scorsese and Jia Zhangke. This time though it is a new director and a small production. Director Mak Hei Yan honestly said this news to a new director was more exciting than winning the lottery.

In CHIN DOH Ah Gil and William are former lovers. After breaking up they run into each other again. William already has a girlfriend, Michelle Wai (Si Nga). Because Ah Gil is homeless they take her in under their roof. Ah Gil and William during the shoot had their share of sex scenes, which reportedly set off sparks and linked them in gossip.

Wynners members Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) and Peng Kin Sun also attended. Since it was Chung Chun To's 57th birthday everyone sang Happy Birthday. Ah B joked that he was six years younger than Alan so he was only 19. Playing the Fortune God in the film, Tam Wing Lun at the premiere gave laisee to the crew and the audience.

New actress Gong Xinliang appeared in a low cut dress. Tam Wing Lun joked on the stage, "Everyone please make room for photos for her, the career line on her chest is truly very strong, it is pulled very straight." Ah B said, "I didn't notice, if I knew I would have worked on the movie for a few days." Alan said, "Lee Lik Chi was the happiest. He played Gong's superior. However she also tempted me to give her wealth." Gong Xinliang is 22, from Gansu and was in IF YOU ARE THE ONE. She said, "In HERE COMES FORTUNE I played a big villain who was money and power hungry. The costumes were sexier."

He will fly to Canada on a holiday at that time with his family as well. As for whether Alan will bring his family too, Alan said, "Get the paparazzi to follow me then you would know." Ah B's daughter Eloise just turned a month old. Earlier his Wynners brothers gave him a lot of gifts. Ah B said, "Kin Jai would give me a gig's salary as a gift. I am really happy." As for if they shared their secret of having children with Chin Wa, Ah B said, "Not being careful is the most important, and a little more hard work too." Alan said, "They have to be like woodpeckers, pecking all day."

Yeung Chin Wa did not have a lot of screen time, maybe 30 minutes. She said, "I got the full salary. In addition it's the God of Fortune there's no reason for me not to take it!" Chin Wa said that she did not ask Alan for secrets for having children, perhaps she was too career minded. Chin Wa was accused of not having what Alan called "career line". Chin Wa joked, "Every person's career line location is different." As for reports that claimed Chin Wa hinted at Chrissie Chau Sau Na as a thief on the set. Chin Wa stressed, "I never suspected anyone. After my marriage I have no gossip, everyone can only speculate on something else." Chin Wa said that she did not know Chau Sau Na before hand and would not rumor dispute with her. As for her figure, Chin Wa said, "It's not hard to find a woman with a bigger chest than mine. I have worked in show business for 15 years, do I get mad with every woman?" Koon Yun Na in the film played a costume maiden. She expressed that wearing the make up and the accessories everyday was very tough, but she thought they was a lot of fun.
