Producer of many films, Chapman To Man Chak earlier tried directing with his film with Aimee Chan Yan Mei, LET'S EAT (HOI FAN LA!). The film will open in Malaysia and Singapore during the Lunar New Year. For his "first time" Ah Jat called in favors. Friend Fiona Sit Hoi Kei helped out without another word. In the film she wore Chinese dress and flight attendant uniform. For her effort Ah Jat of course had to pay her back. "She agreed to come and guest star, but forced me to say that her acting was funnier than mine. I of course had to, haha! Her comedic cells indeed are better than mine."

Speaking of the film opening during the Lunar New Year in Malaysia and Singapore first and facing MERMAID, FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 3, Ah Jat said, "If I don't have the Singapore and Malaysia market, I would have 'bought it' long ago. So I have confidence in myself. Earlier I even lived there for half a year to write the script, as I hope to make the domestic connection!"

To Man Chak's KING OF MAHJONG last year was a big hit in Singapore and Malaysia. Thus he had many fans there. Earlier he was invited to the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College in Kuala Lumpur to attend a film forum. Many university students showed their support. The venue was not only packed but students lined up for photos with Ah Jat afterward.

Alex Fong Lik Sun yesterday attended a Red Cross event as a honorary ambassador to honor student volunteers. Siu Fong's film ANNIVERSARY (GEI LIM YUT) performed well at the box office. Earlier the production team mentioned celebrating with a trip to Switzerland, but so far it has not come to fruition. He pointed out that nothing came of it, perhaps they would wait until better performance. So far the box office has reached HK$ 19 million, with Macau it should be over HK$ 20 million. The film will continue to run until Valentine's Day. Siu Fong even revealed that he has already booked a show for a fan gathering to watch the film again with over 100 fans and pump up the box office. The booking made over HK$ 10,000.

Artist Charmaine Li Sze Yan's husband Ricky Fan Chun Fung recently became the film FOOLING AROUND JIANGHU (GONG WU HEI KET)'s producer. Sze Yan fully supported her husband and took time to guest star in a scene. She said, "Actually aside from the leads, many actors guest starred. This time I played a cashier girl. My co-stars were (Jacky) Cai Jie and Choi Hong Yik (Babyjohn). Babyjohn and I were a little ambiguous."

Although it was just one scene, it still took several hours. As a first time guest star, did she "volunteer to help" her husband? She said, "Of course not, I had a salary! However before the shoot I always visited the set to keep him company, to support him. That was truly volunteered help!"

The Wong Kar Wai produced, Tony Leung Chiu Wai starred film FERRYMAN (BAN DOH YUN) is still in production. According to the Mainland media photos, goddess Michelle Chen also guest starred. She was very happy to be able to work with her idol Wai Jai and did not skim on her effort. In the film she had to dress like Wonder Woman. Although in the cold she had a double to test her mark, she still paid close attention. When she was in the shoot, wind blew up her cape but she had no complaint. During her break she even gave a handbag to director Wong Kar Wai and chatted with him. Wong Kar Wai gladly accepted it.

Korean star Clara yesterday with Louis Koo Tin Lok, Francis Ng Chun Yu and Charmaine Sheh Si Man worked on the film LINE WALKER (SI TOH HUNG JEH) in Studio City Macau. Clara gave Goo Jai a surprise attack in the film.

During the shoot, Clara personally performed her own stunts. After listening to action director Chin Kar Lok's directions, she flew onto a table then applied leg scissors on her opponents. Unfortunately Goo Jai did not have the chance to enjoy the "benefit" this time because his double did his stunts for him. Before the official shoot, Clara stretched to warm up.

Clara said that she was very excited about the shoot. Claiming to enjoy making action films, she had a little difficulty with the first day of stunts but luckily she had two days of training before. Clara also revealed that earlier she and Goo Jai had a big fight scene. She even had to strangle him with a rope. She said that she was the most concerned about injuring Goo Jai's handsome face. Clara felt that her sexy costume was very cool. Full of power and strength, her character was very interesting. How did Goo Jai feel about Clara's abilities? Goo Jai boasted that he was "stiff" enough. He joked, "She trained for two days for the fight scene. Two days ago she and I fought for a day. She used wires to strangle me, and in the end the wire snapped. Luckily my neck was very stiff! Of course that wire was just a prop, that's why it snapped."

Speaking of the mosquito spread Zika virus in South America, Goo Jai who will later shoot on location in Brazil was worried. He joked, "I definitely have to have mosquito repellent. With all the mosquitoes there, I would have to drink the whole bottle." Ng Chun Yu played the slots for Lunar New Year wealth, Goo Jai said that he never gambled. He will spend the Lunar New Year in Hong Kong as usual. Because he was the oldest son and grandson, he will have a lot of customs and traditions to perform at home. He will not resume work until the Lunar 6th or 7th.

Ng Chun Yu and Sheh Si Man in the film played superior and subordinate, so they had the most scenes together. Would Chun Yu have a lot of action scene? He joked, "Young dramatic actors like me have to focus on romantic scenes, but this type of action scenes won't be too hard. (Will you have to go to Brazil for the location shoot?) No, with so many Samba ladies there I am afraid I may have a nosebleed. If we stay there longer I would want to go, but taking an over 20 hour flight there for an one day shoot would be worse than going on vacation." Chun Yu also praised Sheh Si Man for getting into shape as soon as she returned to work. He also said that he was a picky actor and that Sheh Si Man was "rather unlucky" to run into him at work.

Sheh Si Man earlier worked on a complex scene and had her first scene with Chun Yu, which she felt very nervous about! Clara had a lot of action scenes but Ah Sheh also had many car chase and stunt scenes that she will have to make. She said that the difficulty would be with her tight fitting costumes that would keep her from adding protective pads. She will not have to go to Brazil for the location shoot so she will stay in Hong Kong to spend the Lunar New Year with her family.

Although Lunar New Year has not arrived yet, Chun Yu already got some New Year wealth. He revealed that recently while shooting in the casino he played the slots and won 2,000 bucks. Of course he had to share it and treat everyone to food and drinks. Will he try again? He joked, "It won't be so small, I will go to a private room."

LINE WALKER shot on location in Studio City Macau for its big and bold outdoor swimming pool. According to TVB the fight scenes were originally planned for a cruise ship, but because of scheduling and itinerary conflicts the location team finally made the change.

One of the producers Elaine Lok Yi Ling said, "Because the story required an outdoor swimming pool that had to be very new, very large and very luxurious, this venue was very suitable for us. Unfortunately due to rain the shoot has been rescheduled for March! Because the film production needs a lot of coordination, this time Studio City Macau has been very helpful not only with the location but also with rooms and transportation. Thus it even became LINE's location sponsor."

Raymond Wong Pak Ming, Karena Ng Chin Yu, Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Jacquelin Chong Si Man and Lisa Chong Si Ming two nights ago went to the star special screening for ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL (GA YAU HEI SI) extended version. The film will be released at 30 cinemas during the Lunar New Year. Wong Pak Ming stated that he had no box office pressure, as he only wanted to give viewers more choices.

Born in 1993, Chin Yu said that when ALL'S was released in 1992 she was not born yet. Yet every Lunar New Year she would watch it on television. She was even a Stephen Chow Sing Chi fan. She recalled that once when she and boyfriend Raymond Lam Fung were at dinner they ran into Sing Yeh. He not only took the initiative to greet them but also paid their bill. That day she was afraid of hinder her idol from his chat so she did not introduce herself to Sing Yeh or take photos. She will pay her boyfriend's family a Lunar New Year visit, but she had a headache over what to bring as a present. A child would be the best present, but she said that it was too soon. Neither of them were ready. Was she worried that the elders would urge them to wed? Chin Yu said that only the media was urging them to wed. The elders have not.

Impersonating Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing early in his career, Tam Yiu Man felt very honored to be able to provide his voice for his idol. Yet because that day he went to record after finishing a movie, he was a little tired. His voice ultimately was not as mischievous and energetic as Gor Gor's. He stated that Gor Gor's voice was irreplaceable. He could hear the difference himself.
