Chan Wing mei, one of the founders of Newport Cinema circuit, passed away due to illness at the age of 75. Yesterday, a memorial service was held at a Hong Kong Funeral Home. The funeral was held at 12 noon today. The funeral was conducted with a Buddhist ceremony. The widow's floral arrangement with "I will always love you" written on it was placed at the center.
