Sandra Ng Kwan Yu appeared on Carol Cheng Yui Ling (Sister Do)'s YouTube show, THE DO SHOW. The two have known each other for more than 30 years, collaborated on the movies HER FATAL WAYS 4 (BIU JEH, NEI HO YEH! 4 JI CHING BUT JI GUM) and HOLY WEAPON (MO HUP CHUT GUNG JU), played mahjong and gone shopping together. Sister Do posted a highlight clip of the interview. "I believe that this is the interview with the most laughter, I am so happy to have you as a friend in my life." Ng Kwan Yu and Sister Do looked back at the past, sharing that she left TVB back then because of a salary increase was only HK$ 50, her dating Peter Chan Ho Sun, and her daughter Jillian Chan Si Chi's interest in joining the entertainment industry.

Ng Kwan Yu left television to join the film industry in the past, made many movies, and won the Golden Horse Awards and the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress. When asked why she dared to leave TVB back then, Kwan Yu said, "Low salary!" Kwan Yu revealed that she made HK$ 500 per show that year, and only received an increase of HK$ 50 for the contract renewal. She said, "I didn't think there was any reason to be this bad, so I just took one step at a time." She said that many things on TV were unpredictable, as if she was waiting in the sea for the producer to choose her. She was already well-known at that time, so she was not worried. Kwan Yu said that she was not making TVB sound bad, she was just stating the facts. She understood that the system was like this at that time, the company brought popularity to artists so they could make movies and advertisements.

Ng Kwan Yu mentioned the fiasco of the film she invested and starred in, 4 FACES OF EVE (SEI MIN HA WA). She said that she thought the movie was very good, but the market reaction was not as expected. She would still invest in movies, but only part of them because she felt that she would be more invested in it. Now she is a film producer and an actress, and her choice between the two would be actress. She asked Sister Do if she would take another film role again and revealed that someone invited her to make a film, but Sister Do refused within 3 seconds.

Sister Do asked Ng Kwan Yu why she fell in love with Peter Chan Ho Sun? Kwan Yu said that they both applied for film festivals at the same time. "I sent 4 FACES OF EVE, and he (Chan Ho Sun) sent COMRADES, ALMOST A LOVE STORY (TIM MUK MUK). The movies were released at the same time. He defeated me and swept up all the awards." Because they attended different film festivals, they had more contact. They used the same model of mobile phone; once her mobile phone was out of power, so she borrowed his battery and gave him her own battery. Later Chan Ho Sun asked her to see a movie together and returned the phone battery, so it began. She said that the two of them also have strong personalities, and she never thought that she would last this long with Chan Ho Sun. When she gave birth to their daughter, Jillian Chan Si Chi, she was already 41 years old and at an advanced maternal age. At the time it was Chan Ho Sun who encouraged her to give birth.

Speaking of her 18-year-old daughter Jillian Chan Si Chi, Kwan Yu revealed that her daughter wanted to go to a night spot with friends in the United Kingdom, but was not allowed to go. Thus she wanted to pretend to be Mommy and enter with her membership, but was asked about her date of birth and other information and laughed out of the venue after being turned around. Kwan Yu said that her daughter is interested in the entertainment industry, and now she is also studying related subjects. She has been injured many times during dance lessons.
