The premiere of the movie LOVE LIES (NGOR TAM DIK NA CHEUNG LUEN OI) was held the night before. Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, MC Cheung Tin Fu, Stephy Tang Lai Yan, Joman Chiang and others were present. Kwan Yu said that she would accept a "compromising price" to support Hong Kong films and even use her own wardrobe. She joked that she has not reached "relative price" yet, and hoped that the film would be a big hit so she can get a share of the dividends. She recently revealed that TVB only gave a HK$ 50 raise to retain her. She pointed out that that was the way in those days, whether it was fair or unfair would be a matter of opinion.

Kwan Yu was asked if she paid to make the film. She said that the producer and director received government funding for the filming but had limited funds. She used some of her own clothes to skillfully create the characters. She hoped that the film would be a hit so she would be able to share the profits. As for whether the salary was small, she said frankly: "An accommodating price, it can be considered as supporting Hong Kong movies." MC Cheung Tin Fu did not know whether he received enough salary for the film. He said that he was not qualified to negotiate salary and was fighting for the opportunity to make the film.  "You have to ask my manager, I am not qualified to discuss my salary. This is my second movie, so there still is box office pressure."  Kwan Yu hoped to sing the movie theme song with MC  at his concert, but MC said that she would have to ask his manager; he was afraid that she would sing better than him.   Kwan Yu joked, "If I sing better than you, I would have been a music star already!"

In a previous interview with Carol Cheng Yui Ling, Kwan Yu talked about many years ago she was paid HK$ 500 per show at TVB, but the company only added HK$ 50 Hong Kong retain her. Kwan Yu said: "Was that unfair treatment? It's a matter of opinion. That's how it was in those days. (Since then you no longer made any TVB drama?) I went back to host CLUB SPARKLE, but I wouldn't make another drama." Joman Chiang also made TVB dramas and spoke favorably for the company. She pointed out that what happened to elder Kwan Yu was many years ago. The amount of the salary increase was a company secret. In short, it was enough to live on without having to pay to make series. She said that she used to mainly make independent films. Because her income tended to be low, she had to work in restaurants to make a living. Now she also has a part-time job habit. . She worked as a part-time delivery person, a restaurant waiter, maitre d', did not mind taking out the trash or washing the dishes. "I even wash dishes and take out the trash now. As an actor, being exposed to more people helps your acting skills; but if I play a prostitute, I would have to rely on imagination alone!"

Playing a member of a fraud syndicate, Stephy was asked if she has learned the technique to "con guys"? She emphasized her kindness in nature. "Many people think that they have learned a lot after filming a movie, but in fact when it is just acting. You don't even have to learn it, why swindle people?"

Speaking of her outside the industry boyfriend being praised for being a handsome boy with big eyes, she said with a sweet smile, "I always said at that time that he doesn't look like Rain (Korean star Jung Ji-hoon), his eyes are bigger. (How happy is your boyfriend to hear the praises?) He is so shy, but I think he's happy. They say he looks like two handsome gods like Lee Byung-hun and Jung Woo-sung; both of whom are more mature."

Stephy said that her boyfriend was not in the industry, so it was better for him to keep a low profile. However, she said, "His career is very different from mine, which I think it's an advantge; we would be interested in each other's work." Last year her Cookies sisters have already met her boyfriend. When asked about her over 9 month relationship with her boyfriend, would they consider getting married? She was not in a hurry. "Let's get to know each other for awhile first. For me it's very important to understand each other."
