The Jill Wong Pak Kei directed, Gigi Leung Wing Kei, Peter Chan Charm Man, Ling Man Lung, Rachel Leung Yung Ting, Tommy Chu Pak Hong, Chan Hin Lok and a group of young soccer-loving actors Chow Kei Yuet, Sahal Zaman (Lam Lok), Rondi Chan Lok Ting, Tam Chun Yin and Sin Cheuk Kiu starred in this Christmas's most heartwarming comedy film PASS AND GOAL (YIK SUEN SEUNG BOON CHEUNG). It will be released on December 25th. The film has tears within laughter. Ling Man Lung and Leung Yung Ting both said that if they become parents, they would definitely support their children to pursue their dreams.
Ling Man Lung played the rich kid Nip Yui Chi in the film. He said with a smile, "Papa's expectations of him gradually turned into disappointment, from 'Yui Chi' to 'something that sounds like it' (intellectually challenged), and set off sparks with the comedy elder Brother Fai Hung (Chan Fai Hung)." He added, "This work adds light comedy elements, presenting it in a way that is ridiculous, satirical, and the result is even more comedic." Ling Man Lung and Leung Yung Ting also said that if they become parents, they would definitely support their children in pursuing their dreams. Ling Man Lung shared, "When I first entered the industry, many friends did not approve of it. However I had already established my direction because acting is my passion. I am still working hard in the industry, and I can explain it to my parents, friends, and more importantly, myself."
Leung Yung Ting hoped to get along with the young actors. During the filming, she specifically visited the set to watch the young actors play soccer and try to integrate. She said, "This challenge is not only acting but also capturing children's life senses, which is a big test for me. This film is very suitable for the whole family; not only telling the story of children, but also showing the process of understanding between adults and children. Actually children have their own dreams, and in the end, whether adults are willing to let go, believe that children have the ability to pursue their dreams, no matter how difficult the process is. This is a movie with laughter and tears." She recalled her dream pursuit experience, "I faced a lot of opposition when I was growing up, and I believe that I will become an enlightened parent who knows how to let go and trust at the right time."
Playing an important role in the movie trailer, Chow Kei Yuet is 14 years old and an active Hong Kong U16 soccer team player currently for United Citizens U15 and U18. She has won numerous awards in soccer, including the 24/25 FA Cup Championship and the 24/25 U18 Women's League Champion. "I want to become a professional soccer player and turn my interest into a job," said Chi Yuet.
Director Wong Pak Kei revealed that making a film for the first time, Chow Kei Yuet stood out from hundreds of auditioners; not only because of her sweet appearance and superb skills, but also because of her soccer dream. Kei Yuet said, "I was a little nervous about my first time making a film, and the team arranged for acting instructors to guide me. I was particularly nervous in front of the big stars in front of the camera." She had a dispute with her on screen mother Leung Yung Ting in the film, and the filming process was successfully completed. Kei Yuet said with a smile, "Because I often have arguments with my mother in real life, during the filming I just arguing like with my mother normally. So I am not particularly nervous." She also revealed that her father also plays soccer himself, and her parents have always supported her in pursuing her dreams.
