| Philip Ng reveals that he would invite his girlfriend Renee Lee to watch his new film for Christmas courtesy of mingpao.com |
The Philip Ng Wan Lung starred movie THE SIXTH ROBBER held a special screening for friends the night before (23rd), and a group of fans supported him and asked him for autographs. Ng Wan Lung laughed and said that he invited many friends to attend, but none of them were available. His girlfriend Renee Li Man Ying was unable to attend either.
The film has no shortage of fighting scenes, and he revealed this time was one of the most serious injuries since he entered the industry. In one scene, he had to kick the door open between two moving cars and climb onto the roof. Everything went well during the rehearsal, but during the official filming he kicked open the door and was entangled in his foot by the strap of the prop gun on the ground. He was dragged for a while, and even the thick boots he was wearing were worn away. He recalled, "My foot was worn to the bone, so I stayed in the hospital for two weeks and underwent two surgeries to remove the rotten flesh and then cut the flesh on my thigh to fill it in." He was also grateful to the producer for arranging for him to shoot the dramatic scenes first after he was discharged from the hospital, and only filmed the fight scenes after he fully recovered.
In addition when asked about the actors having two months to train before filming the movie sequel TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: THE FINAL CHAPTER (GAU LUNG SING JAI. JUNG JEUNG), Ng Wan Lung said, "In TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI JI WAI SING) my character Wong Gau is already done, so I would leave the fighting in the installment for other actors."
Recently he has been busy with the post productions of several films he took part in. This Christmas is the first Christmas after Ng Wan Lung and his girlfriend started dating. He said that he had no special celebration plans and planned to have a good rest.
