Director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum)'s TVB series last year THE BEAUTY OF WAR (MEI LAI JIN CHEUNG) became the talk of the town and had decent rating, but lately he has returned to his "former gig" and directed the new romantic film BUT SI NEI BUT OI NEI (NOT YOU DON'T LOVE YOU). The production has already begun in a low key manner. The film not only starred Taiwan film YOUR NAME ENGRAVED HEREIN's rising star Edward Chen and "intellectual youth goddess" Mandy Tam Man Huen, but also Ben Yuen Fu Wa, Angel Chiang Ka Man and Anjaylia Chan Ka Bo. Yip Lim Sum in order to create the new film industry force made youth the priority in his cast. Friends who revolved around Mandy in the film would also be young actors. Including ZERO TO HERO (MA MA DIK SUN KEI SIU JI)'s Leung Chung Hang, over 10 young actors would participate.

Yip Lim Sum confirmed, "Earlier I read the report about Miko and learned that she wanted to work on my romantic film. Lately she has come to Hong Kong to promote her photo book and I happen to be making a movie, by chance I have asked her to guest star. The film will be her first Hong Kong film."
