Nick Cheung Ka Fai recently is in preparation for his directing debut YU LAN SUN GUNG (ULLAMBANA HOLY DEED). The lead actress has finally been confirmed to be Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau). Sum Yau in order to support Ka Fai and Hong Kong film was willing to sacrifice her break. She hoped to finish her film and television work so she would be able to join the new film at the end of May. Sum Yau in order to play her character well did all of her homework. She has already been watching classic horror films like THE EXORCIST as she tried to learn from them. Reportedly in the new film she would have many scenes that would challenge her acting like being possessed. She would need to make body movements in coordination. Thus Sum Yau has already done her homework.
Aside from Sum Yau, Carrie Ng Ka Lai has also been successfully landed. Earlier Ka Fai even met with Ng Ka Lai. Ka Fai said, "Before coming she already read the script. She truly is very professional. She also tells me that she hopes that her scenes would take longer so she can be able to get into the character. She is fine with cutting them later." Ka Lai even praised Ng Ka Lai as being very well maintained as she was as beautiful as ever.
