The new film HIGH FORCES (NGAI GEI HONG SIN) will open in Hong Kong and Macau on October 10th. Crime in high altitude was its subject, as an a380 luxury airliner was hijacked tens of thousands of feet in the air. The Wa Jai played the international security expert battled brains and brawn with the hijackers' leader to save his daughter and all of the passengers.

Producer and actor Andy Lau Tak Wa personally accepted questions to satisfy the audience's curiosity about the film. Wa Jai was asked whether HIGH has the most action scenes among the movies he has participated in in recent years? Wa Jai said frankly, "The action scenes are similar, but this time there may be more hand-to-hand combat scenes. Because we are always inside the plane, the environment will be relatively smaller. We wouldn't shoot often, so there are fewer gun battles. In recent years there may be more gun fights, but the action density this time is similar to that of SHOCK WAVE (CHAK DAN JUEN GA). The action scenes I participated in were more outside the plane, and those scenes were more difficult because they all were on wires."

In addition to satisfying the audience's sensory stimulation, Wa Jai once again played a father this time. When asked what would be the differences from previous films such as LOVE AND LOST and THE WANDERING EARTH 2? Wa Jai revealed, "Because the character suffers from mania, he cannot even control himself. Sometimes he loses his temper with his wife or her daughter. Nowadays, society is under great pressure. Actually many families are facing the same situation. Everyone should do their part. Some family members should understand that patients are actually out of control when they are manic, but there is no way around it. Life is full of contradictions and dissatisfaction." At the same time, Wa Jai also hoped for the movie would be able to give patients and their families confidence.

Wa Jai also revealed how he prepared for playing the role with mania. He said, "There are many people around me who have similar situations. They may not be sick, but they are emotionally manic. Some people are luckier and will not turn into illness. This kind of disease is always caused by one's own demands on one's own life or one's own work, or life demands. This situation will only occur when it reaches extreme circumstances, but if there is a problem with brain secretion, it will become an illness. T his situation is troublesome, so it is better to be more tolerant to yourself in life." Wa Jai also said frankly that through this manic role, he wanted to bring some positive messages to the audience. He mentioned, "In the movie, actually both the heroes and the villains are manic, and we take the same medicine. It depends on how you face it when you are sick. If you face it with negative energy, you may become a villain; if you use positive energy, you will become a hero. The two of us have the same shots to explain tht we will take the same medicine."

Wa Jai has been busy promoting movies recently and also taking care of concert tours. When asked as a singer, film producer and actor who has not stopped for many years, has he ever thought about retiring? Wa Jai said, "I have thought about it. I think about it all the time. I would slow down my pace, I ultimately need to slow down the pace because there are many things that I feel I cannot (ignore). For example, my family, wife and daughter are all a part of my life. As for retirement, I probably won't, because singing, movies, and acting are actually already parts of my life. If you would regard it as interest, anything is good. As for how other people define my life, I don't need to be too concerned."
