Last year the Malaysian goddess Lin Minchen took a role in a movie based on a true story, hoping that the public would pay attention to rare diseases. Since the production cost budget was minimal, she and the other lead Ling Man Lung both kept their salaries friendly and even made sufficient preparations in advance like meeting the real life protagonist who suffered from a rare disease, Simon. Unfortunately, he passed away before the movie was released, which made Lin Minchen and Ling Man Lung very sad!

Lin Minchen has always been pretty and kind-hearted. Last year, she, Ling Man Lung and Rachel Leung Yung Ting took part in the movie WISH COMES TRUE (BA HUNG FOOK LAI KUN YUT DIM) . The film was adapted from a real life story and told the relationship between a patient with the rare genetic disease Kennedy's disease and a Malaysian girl.

The reason for starting production on the movie was the hope that people would pay more attention to patients with rare diseases, which was very meaningful. Reportedly Lin Minchen and Ling Man Lung both accepted their roles at a friendly price. The movie had to have additional shoots last year due to various problems, but they worked on their schedule without saying a word or charging extra pay. They were very direct and also took the time to research beforehand. They even had dinner with the real life version of the film's protagonist Simon to understand the story better. Unfortunately, Simon passed away due to illness at the end of last year and was unable to see the film in the end. Lin Minchen and Ling Man Lung were both deeply saddened, and Ling Man Lung even went to the mourning hall to pay his respects in person.

The film has been scheduled to be released on the 24th of this month, and a movie poster and trailer have been released. In the trailer Ling Man Lung is not afraid of illness and faces the challenges of life with a strength and determination, while Lin Minchen plays a lively and optimistic woman who provides massage therapy for Ling Man Lung. The two went from being strangers to supporting each other, the process of which was full of laughter and tears. Once the winner of the Hong Kong Film Awards for Best New Actor, Ling Man Lung once again challenged a difficult role this time. He had to sit in a wheelchair for most of the film, which put his acting skills to the test.
