Michelle Wai Sze Nga again welcomed good news last night, winning Best Actress with the Emperor Motion Picture she starred in, THE LAST DANCE (POR. DEI YUK) at an international movie festival. Carlos Chan Ka Lok was awarded the "Best Supporting Actor", and after winning the award he did not forget to thank his wife publicly.
The 16th Macao International Movie Festival and the 15th Macao International Television Festival were held simultaneously in Macao last night to announce the winners of the Golden Lotus Award. The red carpet was star-studded, as the Emperor Group chief Albert Yeung Sau Sing led its artists Simon Yam Tak Wah, Alex Fong Chung Shun, Michelle Wai Sze Nga, Angus Yeung Tin Yue, Angela Hui Ching Wan and birthday boy Kenny Kwan Chi Bun to attend.
At the awards ceremony, Wai Sze Nga won the Best Actress award. She was excited. "Thank you to the Emperor family, thank you to THE LAST DANCE (POR. DEI YUK)'s team, thank you to the audience who enjoyed this movie, and thank you to Hong Kong movies!"
Chan Ka Lok won the "Best Supporting Actor" in the film category for his role in the movie THE UNWAVERING BROTHERHOOD (JAT JIK 3). He did not forget to thank his wife Shiga Lin Sze Nga as the woman behind him when he took the stage to accept the award. "When I am fully engaged in work, she helps me take care of the family So I have no worries. I would like to thank my boss for always giving me a lot of opportunities in my 17 years in the industry, and the late director (Benny) Chan Muk Seng for the opportunity to make films." This was the second time that Ka Lok has won the same award after HAPPINESS (HUNG WON SI NGOR) nine years ago.
