The Samantha Ko Hoi Ning (Go Ling), Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming and Carlos Chan Ka Lok starred Lunar New Year film QUEEN OF MAHJONG (MA JEUK NUI WONG JUI NAM JAI) was released yesterday. Go Ling and Ma Kwok Ming formed a couple and faced a dispute between mother-in-law and daughter- in-law! Go Ling was a mahjong genius in the film. She saw through human nature in the process of playing. By chance she ran into her secondary school crush "elder" Ma Kwok Ming and then fell in love, but her boyfriend hated playing mahjong the most. With his motor mouth at the mahjong table Mama, their budding relationship could be in a precarious position!

Go Ling and "future mother in law" Ching Ho Wai swore to be incompatible, and they had many rivalry scenes on the mahjong table in the film. Ching Ho Wai's character was quick to "snap" over trivial things. Both were competitive on the mahjong table, which made the atmosphere quite tense. Ma Kwok Ming was caught in the middle, with many scenes of mother and son arguing. Koo Tin Lok mentioned that he had many fight scenes with Louise, and joked that he showed her mercy. "I always thought that she was higher than me, but actually she isn't! The Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin (Ah Sa), Louis Ceung Kai Chung (Ah Chung), Andy Lo (Law Yiu Fai) directed Lunar New Year's film MY BEST BET (CHEUNG DOH BIT YANG) was released today (28th) on the Lunar twenty-ninth before the New Year. On the eve of the release, the two leads and the director attended audience appreciation events everywhere. They made a surprise appearance at one show to celebrate the belated 93th birthday of the grandpa in the film, Bowie Wu Fung (Brother Sau) and to thank the audience for Brother Sau's VIP theater charter. Guests on hand included John Chiang Dai Wai, Anthony Chan Yau, Andrew Yuen Ma Kit, Lau Shek Yin, Wong Man Wai, Joe Junior, Leung Po Ching, Chow Mei Fung and others. The scene was lively.

Ah Sa, Ah Chung and Director Law appeared as mystery guests at Brother Sau's private screening. When Ah Sa carried a cake and sang the birthday song with Ah Chung, the audience applauded. Ah Sa and Ah Chung also called Brother Sau "Grandpa" like their characters in the film, sending blessings to Grandpa.
