Anjaylia Chan Ka Bo attended the graduation ceremony of the Film Directors' Guild "Master Class in Film Directing 2024" in Tsim Sha Tsui yesterday. She said that she has just collaborated with the Guild graduate students on the movie POR YIP (Broken Leaves), playing the mother of a daughter in the film and bringing out the concept of modern education. Because she has 3 daughters in reality, she felt that the content of the film told what was in her heart and she was particularly devoted to the performance. "In the past everyone had a predetermined image of me, and I rarely had the opportunity to play the role of a mother. This time I ran into this script and I agreed. After all, I have already become a mother and want to have a breakthrough performance in front of the screen."

Chan Ka Bo admitted that she was half a tiger mother. Her 6- year-old daughter would go to primary school this year, recently she applied for 9 schools for her. Compared to many diligent parents who applied for 20, she has been considered child's play. Fortunately her daughter was admitted to the school of her choice, so she was very grateful. She said: "Raising children is very stressful, because reading and literacy are taught by me personally. I prefer outdoor teaching, take the children to the restaurant to order and learn words. With so many people looking at me, the chance of me getting angry would be reduced. I would also to comfort the children not to be stressed. (Will you try mother-daughter performance?) I haven't thought about it yet, I hope she has a normal life. If she wants to be on the screen after growing up then she would make a decision." She usually would be busy taking care of her six-year-old, four-year-old and three-year-old children, but she would look forward to working in front of the camera. She joked, "I am happiest now when I have a job, I can leave home justifiably, and I can share the family finances. When I go to work, Mama and the domestic helper would help at home."

The girlfriend of fresh out of oven double television Best Actor Owen Cheung Chun Long, Renci Yeung Sze Wing appeared at the same event but she arrived really late. She hurriedly entered the venue after arriving, only allowing the media to take photos. She declined any interview on the grounds of rushing to enter to support the ceremony.
