The "Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers" held a dinner the night before, Louis Cheung Kai Chung received the Most Charming Actor Award in the eyes of professionals from director Andrew Lau Wai Keung, and Chrissie Chau Sau Na won the Most Charming Actress Award. After being sued by wealthy businessman Martin Lee Ka Shing for defamation in the High Court, Chau Sau Na made her first public appearance and was in good condition.
Chau Sau Na thanked the photographers she has worked with for allowing her and the characters she played to show their charm. "Since joining the film industry, the directors, photographers and all the staff I have met have been very good to me. Hong Kong films have brought me a lot of gains and touches." She revealed that she has been on a rare break recently and planned to travel abroad to enjoy a short break.
Cheung Kai Chung posted on social platforms about how he felt about winning the award. "Thank you to the Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers for presenting this award to me, especially accepting the award personally from the hands of director Lau Wai Keung. I cherish this moment very much." He said that winning the Most Charming Actor Award in the eyes of professionals was a great encouragement, and thanked every photographer he has worked with. Everyone has worked together to do their best for every shot, and they have been very important partners. Two nights ago many elders he has admired were on hand, so he felt honored and grateful to receive this award. Cheung Kai Chung also congratulated fellow winner Chau Sau Na and Leung Ming Kai, who won the Most Outstanding Cinematographer of the Year. He also thanked two very important people in his life, Boss Koo (Louis Koo Tin Lok) and his wife Kay Tse On Kay.
