Ali Lee Kai Sum won the admission ticket to the "44th Hong Kong Film Awards" with the movie GOLDEN BOY (GUM TUNG) as she would compete for the "Best New Performer". Earlier she shared a video her accepting her nomination certificate, in which she could not hide her excitement at all. She said that she noticed that her co-star in the film and "Best Actor" nominee Louis Cheung Kai Chung has received a certificate earlier, but she did not expect that she also had a share. She covered her mouth, laughed happily and said, "At that moment I thought probably not for Best New Performer! It actually is!" She showed the certificate with her name on it to the camera and gave a speech, "I will remember that I will always be a newcomer and continue to learn, thank you!" The staff then handed over the commemorative water bottle presented by the organizer, which she praised for the practicality. She even regarded the water bottle as a trophy, saying with a smile: "It seems like I have already won the award, because it has my name and a nomination on it!"
