In order to further promote the Hong Kong film industry and promote Hong Kong filmmakers to expand their international networks, the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) and the Hong Kong Film Development Council held different activities during the Hong Kong International Film and Television Festival (FILMART), one of which was the "Hong Kong Night" organized by the CCIDA and the Hong Kong Film Development Council. The evening invited several hundred global film and television elites, including famous local directors like Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting, Raman Hui Sing Ngai, Anselm Chan Mou Yin, etc. In terms of actors, there were also Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Philip Ng Wan Lung, Natalie Hsu (Hui Yan Yi), Kevin Chu Kam Yin, Renci Yeung Sze Wing, etc., and the scene is star-studded.

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the HKSAR Government, Ms Law Shuk-pui kicked off the evening with a speech. She not only highlighted Hong Kong's attractiveness as an Asian film and television hub, but also helped expand its international cooperation network. Industry professionals from home and abroad actively participated in the concerted efforts to promote Hong Kong's film industry to the international market.

Cheung Ka Fai said that he was also a "beneficiary" under the government film funding scheme. "Whether it is the films I have made as a director before or the just completed filming of GOOD TRIP (NGOR AH DEH SEUNG LUI HUNG) with Norris Wong Yee Lam, they are all benefiting from the government film funding scheme, so tonight my attendance is inevitable." Ka Fai also pointed out that in the current market, the government's funding scheme has been very useful. "For example GOOD TRIP that I just completed is a Directors' Succession Scheme project passed down from generation to generation, and it is also the name of this film funding scheme. From producer Cheung Yuen Ting, directors Wong Yee Lam and Wong Hoi, to me and my co-star Chung Suet Ying, we completely develop the concept of this project, melting the old and new concepts into something new for everyone. The filming experience of the whole film makes me feel very innovative."

Ng Wan Lung said that the biggest feeling of attending "Hong Kong Night" was to meet many old friends. "And everyone adheres to the same concept, which is to make good Hong Kong movies."

Hong Kong's new generation actress Hui Yan Yi said that "Hong Kong Night" has enabled her to meet many new friends. "I am very happy to see many familiar faces, the circle in Hong Kong is very small but it is not easy to meet everyone. This time I met a lot of old friends, but at the same time I met a lot of new friends. There are people from different countries, I am looking forward to future cooperation."

Along the Hong Kong new generation actors Yeung Sze Wing and Chu Kam Yin attended the "Hong Kong Night" together and promoted their film WAKESURF LOVERS (LONG FA NAM NUI). Yeung Sze Wing said that it was the first time to see the trailer of her own movie with so many participants from different regions at the event, and it felt fresh. "Seeing this trailer with everyone on the big screen, I see my performance of water skiing in the film for the first time. I hope everyone will support me then."
