The Liu Kuan-Ting, Jennifer Yu Heung Ying, Tin Kai Man starred the Taiwanese movie DOUBLE HAPPINESS has had decent word of mouth since its release. Recently the three of them were interviewed together. Tin Kai Man praised Yu Heung Ying's Best Actress title was well-deserved and not by chance. He admitted that he wanted to receive his first film award nomination in his life with this film, while the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress Yu Heung Ying and the Golden Horse Award Best Supporting Actor Liu Kuan-Ting almost slipped up in front of the fully comedic elder Tin Kai Man. Facing the topical Lunar New Year film NIGHT KING (YEH WONG) and THE SNOWBALL ON A SUNNY DAY (GUM DOR BO) as well as cinema circuit film scheduling issues, Tin Kai Man could only say that if the audience would support the film, he was confident that no one would be disappointed.

The film tells the story of the groom Kao Ting Sheng (Liu Kuan- Ting) and the bride Ng Doi Ling (Yu Heung Ying), who faced the man's father Kao Sheng Hong (Tou Chung-Hua) and his mother Bai Yan Hsin (Yang Kuei-Mei) who had been at odds for many years and fought to organize the wedding ceremony on the big day. Kao Ting Sheng teamed up with his father in law Old Ng (Tin Kai Man), the wedding consultant (9m88), best man Big Tsai (Kent Tsai) to attempt two wedding ceremonies in one day.

Yu Heung Ying said that after receiving the DOUBLE HAPPINESS script, she really liked it and was moved after reading it. However she was truly a little surprised by the Taiwan audience's fondness for her character. "The audience super like this character, some people even say hat they really want to marry me and take me home." She felt that her bride role was attractive because she was very sunny in the film. "The male lead is heavier in comparison, being in a relatively depressed condition on the wedding day. He was very nervous and had a lot to take care of. I kept supporting him by his side."

Acting in a Taiwanese film for the first time, Yu Heung Ying stated that she was very confident in the film but was still nervous about the Hong Kong box office. When asked about the difference between Hong Kong and Taiwanese actors, Heung Ying pointed out that Hong Kong and Taiwan actors have similar emotional processing, but Hong Kong actors are naughtier and love to improvise. Many Taiwanese actors are from professional backgrounds and read books very professionally during their breaks. Grew up in a single-parent family, Yu Heung Ying said that this time she realized her inner desire in the script.
