AN AUTUMN'S TALE (CHAU TIN DIK TUNG WAH)'s Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting produced, A LYRICIST WANNABE (TIN JI L)'s Norris Wong Yi Lam and Wong Hoi co-directed, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Chung Suet Ying's first film together GOOD TRIP (NGOR AH DEH SEUNG LUI HUNG) would open on October 15th. The film company yesterday released the latest poster and trailer. The story in a light and humorous manner puts the father and daughter highway journey on display.
Cheung Ka Fai said that from working in GOOD he successfully unlocked many firsts, including Wong Yi Lam as the youngest director he has worked with and the first female director. He also worked on his first highway movie. In his impression Wong Yi Lam and Wong Hoi were both intellectual youth directors, he would have never guessed that they both were very hardcore. He was referring to the use of the story and not the visual, as the two's invested very deep feelings into the roles.
In the film Cheung Ka Fai's main co-star was his first time collaborator Chung Suet Ying. He said, "From head to toe I was together with daughter Chung Suet Ying. Working with this young generation Golden Horse Best Actress for the first time, I discovered that Ah Suet had her own ideas. I have seen A LYRICIST WANNABE before, she is an actor I really admire."
Chung Suet Ying worked with Wong Yi Lam and Wong Hoi for the third time. She said that this story scale was even grander than previous times. She has never made a movie that needed to go to many locations for shoots, just like the title. In addition the entire team went on this vacation together.
GOOD not only starred the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actor Cheung Ka Fai and Golden Horse Awards Best Actress Chung Suet Ying, but the trailer also had a surprise. Away from the public eye for a long time, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai appeared in costume. Stanley Yau Si Chun, Philip Keung Ho Man and Philip Ng Wan Lung guest starred.
