The Chen Yu-Hsun directed, Caitlin Fang, Will Or Wai Lam, Tseng Jin Hua starred Taiwanese film A FOGGY TALE won four awards last year for Best Feature Film, Original Screenplay, Art Design, and Costume Design at the 62nd Golden Horse Awards. This year A FOGGY TALE won five major awards at the Taipei Film Awards, including Best Feature Film and Screenplay, and was also selected to participate in multiple international film festivals. Yesterday Taiwan's Ministry of Culture announced that after discussions in the selection meeting, A FOGGY TALE was recommended to represent Taiwan in the competition for Best International Film award nomination at the 99th Academy Awards.

The 63rd Golden Horse Awards ceremony announced yesterday that it would be held on November 22nd at the Taipei Music Center, with the nominee for Best Actor with A FOGGY TALE, Or Wai Lam, taking over as host. The official Golden Horse Awards social media released a promotional video. In the video, Tin Kai-man, who played a tailor, said in Cantonese while measuring Or Wai Lam, "Congratulations, you finally managed to the boss." Or Wai Lam replied, "Finally?" Tin covered his mouth and said, "I said the wrong thing, I'll keep quiet." Or Wai Lam said, "The previous few editions were outstanding, but naturally I have my own style." Then he said in Mandarin, "I heard rumors that someone looks like me and wants to compete with me for a higher position." Or Wai Lam took out a photo of Greg Hsu and placed it on the table. Tin Kai Man glanced at it and said, "He looks better." Or Wai Lam protested, "Shut up!" He then spoke in Mandarin, "It's the rule of the underworld. As an actor, you have to face different roles, and we're on par in this regard. Unfortunately, as a host, you still need some good looks. It's a pity for Kuang Han!"

At this moment, Golden Horse Best Actor and newly appointed chairman of the Golden Horse Awards Executive Committee, Chang Chen, appeared and said, "Actually, it's because he (Greg Hsu) doesn't have time, so we contacted you." Tin Kai Man laughed and said, "I knew it would be like this from the start!" Afterwards, Or Wai Lam pretended to hit Tin Kai Man, then looked in the mirror, made a V sign, and showed off a radiant smile. The internet praised the promotional video for being funny and also complimented Or Wai Lam for being cute and incredibly handsome.

The event also announced that the "Golden Horse official red carpet queen" Pink Yang Chian Pei and the Golden Bell Awards Best Supporting Actor Huang Di Yang would be responsible for the red carpet.
