"Intellectual Youth Goddess" Angela Yuen Lai Lam and Renci Yeung Sze Wing have been promoting films recently. Yuen Lai Lam received praises from the live audience and joked that the viewer could get off work and collect the meal box. As for Yeung Sze Wing, she practiced surfing for several months for her new film, and revealed that she once wanted to give up; only because the two handsome men she was able to persevere.
Kevin Chu Kam Yin, Yeung Sze Wing and Yuen Lai Lam recently attended the "Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation - Kuala Lumpur" event in Malaysia with new films, and then accepted an interview with local radio stations.
Yuen Lai Lam and the film AFTERPIECE (DAI SEI MOK)'s director Keane Wong Tak Kin appeared. Earlier she receiving the Rising Star Asia Award at the New York Asian Film Festival. She revealed that the role was full of challenges, and was the most complex performance since her career began. The contrast before and after has been enormous. "The character early on has been in a very innocent state, but with the reversal of the plot, it will bring a lot of unexpected surprises to the audience." In the film she and Stephen Fung Tak Lun had drama within drama, which was a lot of fun for her to play. They even made preparation before the start of the production and took drama courses. Some viewers in the audience praised her for playing the role well, which made her very happy. She joked, "Later you can go out and get a meal box!" When a fan asked her if she would be interested in making a movie there, she expressed that she would gladly do it. "Great! If you would invite me then I would come." The director said that this time the script was tailored for Yuen Lai Lam, as he believed that the audience has certainly not seen her "villain" side.
In addition, Chu Kam Yin and Renci Yeung Sze Wing promoted their new film WAKESURF LOVERS (LONG FA NAM NUI) together. Chu Kam Yin said a few months ago he was working on a drama there, and admitted that this year he has had a special connection with Malaysia. The two shared tidbits about surfing training for the film. Chu Kam Yin said that from practice to production they took several months and put a lot of effort into it. Yeung Sze Wing admitted that she has thought about giving up, thanked him and their co-star Jeffrey Ngai Chun Sun for practicing with her. "We trained from winter water to warm water, throughout which I really wanted to give up. They just kept encouraging me."
