The Emperor movie CUSTOMS FRONTLINE (HOI GUAN JIN SIN), starring Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, announced yesterday that it would be released in the summer. Ting Fung as the action director as well was extra cautious. During the shoot he corrected the actors' gun holding posture in detail. The always mild mannered Song God Cheung Hok Yau was trained by Ting Fung into becoming a "fight god", as he was able to handle many extremely difficult stunts easily.

Cheung Hok Yau returned as an actor again after an 8 year long absence. In the trailer, the role he played was not much but had drama at every turn. He truly was worthy of the title of "the Best Actor hindered by singing". The trailer also made people more curious about his wonderful performance in the film, as it whet the audience's appetite!

After RAGING, Ting Fung spent 3 years on concocting the new film. In addition to showing his skills in front of the camera and completing many difficult action scenes such as climbing a crane with his bare hands in the air, he also took on the responsibility of action direction for the first time. He was meticulous in many details. The film would have many large-scale gunfight scenes in the film, from something as grand in scale as the design of the scene to something as detailed as the actors' gun-holding postures, he took care of them one by one. He personally explained the correct standing posture to Wai Sze Nga and Cya Liu in order to shoot the superb gunfight scenes under safe conditions!

In addition Ting Fung also designed a lot of action scenes for his co-star Cheung Hok Yau, who instead of being stumped he passed all the tests. Ting Fung said, "Some actors just have the light of natural performance, and the biggest challenge this time is to design a lot of dangerous stunts for Cheung Hok Yau. I gave him a name, which is the copy machine, basically he watched it once, and by the second take he would pass. I am sure that Brother Hok Yau hasn't fought like this in previous movies."

CUSTOMS released a trailer and poster yesterday, announcing that it would be released on July 5th. The film also has certain selling points, Ting Fung once declared that the film would rely on the word "real" to impress the audience. He said: "Ours are real explosions, real fight scenes, real car chases, I hope to impress everyone with sincerity."

CUSTOMS FRONTLINE is Herman Yau Lai To directed. In addition to Ting Fung and Hok Yau, who have worked together again after 14 years, the superstar lineup in the film also includes Karena Lam Ka Yun, Cya Liu Yase and special performance by Francis Ng Chun Yu, as well as Kenny Kwan Chi Bun, Carlos Chan Ka Lok, Michelle Wai Sze Nga, Ben Yuen Fu Wah, Michelle Yim (Mai Suet), Shek Sau, Melvin Wong Kam Sun, Angus Yeung Tin Yue, Amanda S. and other other strong performances.
