The Louis Koo Tin Lok, Raymond Lam, Jessica Hester Hsuan (Suen Huen) starred film BACK TO THE PAST (CHUM CHUN GEI) was finally "unearthed" 6 years after production. Under the anticipation of the entire city, the film shot up like bamboos at the box office. Its opening day has already broken the record, recording over HK$ 11 million in Hong Kong and Macau box office to become the highest opening day box office in Hong Kong film history.

In the most recently announced numbers, BACK even set a new Hong Kong Chinese film first week box office record. From its December 31st release last year to two days ago, its Hong Kong and Macau cumulative box office has reached HK$ 45,454,742 (42,803,931 in Hong Kong) to become the highest grossing first week box office champion for Hong Kong and Chinese films in history.
